Greetings my dear friends, readers and craft lovers! Today I would like to present you a nice antique cart made entirely of eva rubber.

Vintage cars have a very particular charm and that is that their curves and profile give them a really artistic look. I don't consider myself a car lover, but one thing I am sure of is that I hope one day to be able to ride and drive a beautiful classic car maybe with a vintage outfit lol.
Los autos antiguos tienen un encanto muy particular y es que sus curvas y su perfil le dan un aspecto realmente artístico. No me considero una amante de los autos, pero de algo estoy segura es que espero algún día poder montarme y manejar un hermoso auto clásico quizás con un atuendo de la época lol
The nice thing about this piece is that it can be made in quantities and given as a souvenir at a party or even as a decoration for a birthday, it is also made of eva rubber and does not require complex patterns for its realization.
Lo lindo de esta pieza es que puede hacerse en cantidades y entregarse como un recuerdo en alguna fiesta o incluso como decoración para algún cumpleaños, además está realizado en goma eva y no requiere patrones complejos para su realización.
Specifically for this piece I used scraps of eva rubber from other projects but in the end I got a car no more than 12 centimeters long and 8 centimeters high, very detailed. Join me to see the step by step so you can learn how to make it ;)
Específicamente para esta pieza utilice retazos de goma eva de otros proyectos pero y al final quedo un auto no mayor a 12 centímetros de largo y a 8 de alto muy detallado. Acompáñame a ver el paso a paso para que aprendas a realizarlo ;)
The first thing we will do is to make and cut a piece very similar to the one shown, it will have a length of approximately 12 centimeters and will be smaller at one end.
Lo primero que haremos será hacer y cortar una pieza muy parecida a la que se observa, la misma tendrá un largo aproximado de 12 centímetros y se hará más pequeña en una de los extremos.
Next, in an eva rubber of the color we want for the cart, we will make 4 pieces with the following measures: 4cm x 4cm, 4cm x 3cm and two pieces of 4cm x 2cm.
Seguidamente en una goma eva del color que deseemos para el carro realizaremos 4 piezas con las siguientes medidas: 4cm x 4cm, 4cm x 3cm y dos piezas de 4 cm x 2cm
In addition, three more pieces will be made to complete the car frame with the following measurements: two pieces of 1.5 cm x 1 cm and one of 4cm x 1 cm.
Adicional se realizaran tres piezas más para completar el armazón de auto con las siguientes medidas: dos piezas de 1.5 cm x 1 cm y una de 4cm x 1
In this step we proceed to assemble, the first four pieces will be the car cabin and the other three will assemble what would be the trunk. I also added a windshield with a C-shaped piece.
En este paso procedemos a armar, las primeras cuatro piezas serán la cabina de auto y las otras tres armaran lo que sería el maletero. Igualmente le agregue un parabrisas con una pieza en forma de C.
For the front part I did it using first a sheet of paper to draw the shape and after having the piece as I wanted it, I proceeded to transfer it to the eva rubber, cut it out and glue it.
Para la parte del frente si la hice utilizando primero una hoja de papel para sacar la forma y luego de tener la pieza como la quería procedí a pasarla a la goma eva, la recorte y pegue.
Once the frame is ready, we just need to add a little detail where the wheels will go, we will do that with a little frosted eva rubber. Folding a strip on each side forming at the time of gluing the curves where appropriate.
Ya con el armazón listo solo queda agregar un poco de detalle donde iran las ruedas, eso lo haremos con un poco de goma eva escarchada. Doblando una tira por cada lado formando al momento de pegar las curvas donde corresponde.
To cover the hole in the front and make it look like a grid I used an eva rubber that has corrugated cardboard and then proceeded to cover the outline with more gold rubber.
Para tapar el hueco del frente y hacer que parezca una rejilla utilice una goma eva que tiene una cartulina corrugada y luego procedí a cubrir el contorno con más goma dorada.
For the wheels I used some black and silver eva rubber, making 5 wheels to add the spare wheel on the bottom.
Para las ruedas use un poco de goma eva negra y plateada, haciendo 5 ruedas para agregar la rueda de repuesto del fondo.
The car is almost ready, just need to add some details with more eva rubber, such as headlights, rearview mirror and inside I also wanted to add a small seat with steering wheel and shifter.
Ya está casi listo el auto, solo falta agregar algunos detalles con más goma eva, como los faros, retrovisor y en la parte de adentro también quise agregar un pequeño asiento con su volante y su palanca de cambio.
The piece is ready, now I leave you a small photo session where you will see the whole piece from different points of view.
