Hello, welcome to a new blog.
After a year of making a sticker notebook, I decided to give it a makeover, as the old fabric cover was looking a bit stained and faded. So I chose to create a strawberry design using fabric scraps, but without removing the old fabric cover since it has pages inside and I didn't want to damage the inside of the notebook. I invite you to see this makeover, the step-by-step process, and the final result.
Materiales||Materials
- Retazos de tela en tonos rosados, rojos y verdes.
- Tijeras.
- Silicón líquido.
- Botones.
- Adornos que combinen con la temática.
- Fabric scraps in shades of pink, red, and green.
- Scissors.
- Liquid silicone.
- Buttons.
- Decorations that match the theme.
Paso a paso||Step by step
Paso 1️⃣
Step 1️⃣
I started by selecting the fabric that would cover the entire notebook. I had a piece with red squares. I measured and cut a square that would cover the whole notebook, and glued it on with silicone. After this step, I let it dry completely before moving on to the next one.
Paso 2️⃣
Step 2️⃣
For this step, I cut two squares of red and pink fabric, one to place in each corner. I also added some wavy decorations that I cut from a box, which I thought looked nice. I added a green frame to one of the squares.
Paso 3️⃣
Step 3️⃣
This step is to show you how I made the details to add the strawberry theme. I drew pictures of Strawberry and her kitten, and I selected buttons with red tones to make strawberries and cherries.
Paso 4️⃣
Step 4️⃣
With all the details ready, it was time to put everything in place. As I placed everything, I realized it needed more things in pink and red tones, so I added more cherries. I would have liked to add more things, but I didn't have anything else.
