Hola a todos y especialmente a los integrantes de Hive Diy, por primera vez, tengo el honor y el placer de participar en esta importante comunidad y lo quise hacer con este práctico Joyero artesanal, que espero sea del agrado de ustedes.
Desde hace algún tiempo había reciclado la caja de un viejo celular para guardar bisutería y estaba pendiente de hacerle una intervención, pues cada vez que veía el diseño original de la cajita me chocaba un poco, pues nada tenía que ver con el nuevo contenido de la misma. Así que gracias a una pequeña libreta con bonitos diseños que hace poco me regaló mi cuñada, se me prendió la chispa creativa y visualicé al nuevo joyero artesanal que ahora decora y alegra mi gaveta.
De tal manera que el día de hoy les muestro como convertí la caja de cartón de un viejo celular, en un lindo y práctico joyero artesanal, para lo cual utilicé, dos pinceles, una lima para uñas, papel de lija número 320, 6 hojas de papel estampadas con varios diseños, cada una con una dimensión de 10 x 10 cm, cola blanca, satín líquido, adhesivo multiuso y dos zarcillos de diferentes parejas, los cuales había guardado como reciclaje.
A continuación les muestro el paso a paso de la referida artesanía:
Ante todo, se limpia la cajita del celular con el objeto de que no contenga ningún rastro de polvo. Por otra parte, se seleccionan tres diseños en papel, que armonicen entre sí, tanto en colores como estilos.
El segundo paso consiste en darle varias capas de cola blanca, con la ayuda de un pincel, por la parte superior externa de la tapa de nuestra caja, esperar que la cola seque un poco para luego proceder a colocar el papel con cuidado de que este quede alineado con respecto a los bordes de la tapa.
Una vez que se ha cumplido con el procedimiento anteriormente descrito, con la mano deslizaremos un trapo por encima del papel para fijarlo con mayor precisión sobre la superficie.Inmediatamente después, pasaremos una lima de uñas por el borde de la tapa, con el objeto de eliminar los restos de papel.
El procedimiento anteriormente descrito, se repite en cada una de las caras de la caja, donde queramos colocar el papel de diseño, en mi caso, en esta oportunidad lo hice por todas las caras de la tapa y por los dos lados del fondo de la caja, el resto de la caja lo deje como venía originalmente, pues me gustó el acabado tipo madera del diseño del papel que esta traía.
A continuación, por encima de todas las caras que acabamos de pegar, con un pincel, procedemos a darle varias manos con cola blanca diluida en agua. Esperamos que seque y le pasamos una lija muy fina, para lograr una superficie lisa.
Después le damos una mano de satín para lograr el acabado satinado de nuestro joyero. Volvemos a esperar que se seque y si queremos podemos decorar nuestra obra con cualquier accesorio que nos guste, yo escogí dos zarcillos sin pareja que, como les indiqué anteriormente, los tenía guardados para reciclar en cualquier momento y me pareció que le darían un toque elegante al acabado de nuestro nuevo joyero artesanal. Así que con adhesivo multiuso UHD, procedía a colocarlos encima de la caja.
Por ahora, me despido ante todo con el agradecimiento por haber llegado hasta aquí y con el deseo de que haya despertado en ustedes la suficiente motivación para realizar un joyero artesanal como este.

Hello everyone and especially to the members of Hive Diy, for the first time, I have the honor and pleasure to participate in this important community and I wanted to do it with this practical handmade jewelry box, which I hope will be to your liking.
For some time I had recycled the box of an old cell phone to store costume jewelry and I was waiting to make an intervention, because every time I saw the original design of the box I was a little shocked, because it had nothing to do with the new content of the same. So, thanks to a small block with beautiful designs that my sister-in-law recently gave me, my creative spark ignited and I visualized the new handmade jewelry box that now decorates and brightens up my drawer.
So today I show you how I turned the cardboard box of an old cell phone into a nice and practical handmade jewelry box, for which I used two brushes, a nail file, sandpaper number 320, 6 sheets of paper stamped with various designs, each with a dimension of 10 x 10 cm, white glue, liquid satin, UHU multipurpose adhesive and two tendrils of different pairs, which I had saved as recycling.
Here is the step-by-step instructions for this handicraft:
First of all, the cell phone box is cleaned very well, so that it does not contain any trace of dust. On the other hand, three paper designs are selected, which harmonize with each other, both in colors and styles.
The second step consists of applying several coats of white glue, with the help of a brush, on the upper external part of the lid of our box, wait for the glue to dry a little and then proceed to place the paper, taking care that it is aligned with respect to the edges of the lid.
Once the procedure described above has been carried out, slide a cloth over the paper with your hand to fix it more accurately on the surface, then immediately run a nail file over the edge of the lid to remove any paper residue.
The procedure described above is repeated on each of the sides of the box, where we want to place the design paper, in my case, in this opportunity I did it on all sides of the lid and on both sides of the bottom of the box, the rest of the box I left it as it came originally, because I liked the wood type finish of the paper design that it had.
Then, with a brush, we proceed to apply several coats of white glue diluted in water over all the faces we have just glued. We wait for it to dry and then we sand it with very fine sandpaper to achieve a smooth surface.
Then we give it a coat of satin to achieve the satin finish of our jewelry box. Again we wait for it to dry and if we want we can decorate our work with any accessory we like, I chose two unpaired earrings that, as I indicated earlier, I had them in my box.
I chose two unpaired tendrils that, as I indicated above, I had them saved to recycle at any time and I thought they would give an elegant touch to the finish of our new handmade jewelry box. So with UHD all-purpose adhesive, I proceeded to place them on top of the box.
