Materials needed;
White paper
Scissors
Glue
Coloured pencils
Crayons
Pencil
Sharpener
Pencil Shavings
Steps taken;
Plain white paper
I drew a hut on the paper with my pencil.
Next I drew a tree trunk behind the hut and a pathway that runs through the front of the hut.
Next I drew the branches of the tree, some plants, a bird flying over, and then clouds.
I coloured the tree trunk and the hut.
Next I coloured the bird, the clouds and the pathway.
With the glue, I glued the pencil shavings to form the roof of the hut.
Then I glued the pencil shavings on the top of the tree to form the leaves.
At the bottom of the tree, I glued more pencil shavings to form fallen leaves.
I glued the shavings on the plants on the other side to form their leaves.
I glued the shavings to form the wing and the tail of the bird.

With just pencil shavings, you could have lots of fun, even with your kids. So next time you have pencil shavings on the table, put them to good use, put them to good art.
