Venom is an alien symbiote that requires a host, usually human, to survive. The symbiote has an amorphous appearance, and in the comics, Venom primarily interacts with Spider-Man, with whom it shares a complex relationship. Eddie Brock, Flash Thompson, and Mac Gargan are some of the characters who have hosted the Venom symbiote. I decided to do it this way because since it's a charcoal sketch, doing it full body would be total chaos because charcoal stains too much.

Once the sketch is complete, I erase the guidelines to create cleaner lines so the character's overall texture can be understood.
There are some areas where the light shines slightly, and we need to blend them to give a better finish. You can do this with a napkin or any piece of smooth cloth, and try to be as neat as possible so the entire design doesn't get stained.
