This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a pretty hanging decoration for your home. Since it was time to put away the Christmas decorations, it was time to make some new ones to give the house a fresh look; so I wanted to start with the decorations I enjoy making the most: in this case, a pretty floral-themed hanging decoration.

- Foami escarchado blanco.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero que hice fue tomar la cartulina, pero pueden utilizar cartón, digamos que un material que sirva como soporte para que se mantenga firme el colgante. Recorté la cartulina con un tamaño de 18 cm x 11 cm. Pensé en pegar por el borde una tira de foami decorado, pero no me gustó, así que simplemente comencé a pegar las paletas, una al lado de la otra, hasta cubrir la cartulina.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing I did was take the cardstock, but you can use cardboard—any material that will serve as a support to keep the hanging decoration sturdy. I cut the cardstock to 18 cm x 11 cm. I thought about gluing a strip of decorative foam around the edge, but I didn't like it, so I simply started gluing the lollipops, one next to the other, until the cardstock was covered.

✨PASO 2:
Ahora vamos con las piezas de la decoración; así que lo primero es tomar una hoja blanca y dibujar el diseño de flores que queremos para este colgante. En mi caso, pensé en un tallo grande, tipo enredadera, con una combinación de mis flores favoritas, que en este caso son las margaritas y los girasoles. Al tener lista la idea de las flores, transferí a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Pétalos de girasol: 5 cm x 5 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Centro de girasol: 2.5 cm de circunferencia.
✨Pétalos de margarita: 4 cm x 4 cm en foami escarchado blanco.
✨Centro de margarita: 1 cm de circunferencia en foami amarillo (otro tono).
✨Enredadera: 17 cm en foami verde.
✨STEP 2:
Now let's move on to the decorative pieces. First, take a white sheet of paper and draw the flower design you want for this pendant. In my case, I envisioned a large, vine-like stem with a combination of my favorite flowers, which in this case are daisies and sunflowers. Once I had the flower design ready, I transferred it to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:
✨Sunflower petals: 5 cm x 5 cm in yellow foam.
✨Sunflower center: 2.5 cm in diameter.
✨Daisy petals: 4 cm x 4 cm in white glitter foam.
✨Daisy center: 1 cm in diameter in yellow foam (or another shade).
✨Vine: 17 cm in green foam.

✨PASO 3:
Al estar listas y recortadas las piezas, es momento de dar color a los bordes de las piezas de foami liso, pues no me gusta hacer esto con las piezas de foami escarchado, así que a los pétalos de las margaritas no les hice esto. Simplemente utilicé un tono de marcador más oscuro que el de las piezas y, al estar secas, di detalles más específicos con marcadores; como sería el caso del centro de los girasoles, a los cuales les hice cuadraditos, y a los pétalos, detalles para definir un poco mejor.
✨STEP 3:
Once the pieces were ready and cut out, it was time to color the edges of the plain foam pieces. I don't like to do this with the glitter foam pieces, so I didn't do it to the daisy petals. I simply used a darker shade of marker than the color of the pieces, and once they were dry, I added more specific details with markers; for example, I added small squares to the centers of the sunflowers, and details to the petals to better define them.

✨PASO 4:
Al estar secas las piezas, es momento de dar volumen a las flores; así que pase los pétalos por una plancha y, al abombar, las retire y aplaste con la parte trasera de una brocha el centro de las mismas, y repetí este proceso con las margaritas y el centro de ambos tipos de flor.
✨STEP 4:
Once the pieces were dry, it was time to give the flowers volume. I ironed the petals, and when they puffed up, I removed them and flattened the centers with the back of a paintbrush. I repeated this process with the daisies and the centers of both types of flowers.

✨PASO 5:
Ya casi para finalizar, pegué la enredadera sobre el colgante, ordené las flores a mi gusto, pero, además, hice un lazo con cinta de cuatro, la cual pegué en la parte baja del tallo de la enredadera y, para colgar, pegué otra cinta en la parte superior, pero trasera del colgante.
✨STEP 5:
Almost finished, I glued the vine onto the pendant, arranged the flowers to my liking, and also made a bow with four-strand ribbon, which I glued to the bottom of the vine's stem. To hang it, I glued another ribbon to the top, but on the back, of the pendant.
