En esta ocasión les comparto el paso a paso para elaborar un lindo colgante para la cocina. Quise hacer algo diferente, así que pensé que la base quedaría bien en forma de casita, un pollito en medio y decorarla con un lindo lazo. Digamos que quise elaborar algo sencillo, pero con detallitos para que llamara más la atención. Tenía un tiempito sin compartir ideas de colgantes y creo que lo haré un poco más seguido; sobre todo, los colgantes de cocina son las creaciones que más disfruto elaborar desde pequeña.

This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute kitchen pendant. I wanted to do something different, so I thought the base would look nice in the shape of a house, with a chick in the middle, and decorated with a cute bow. Let's just say I wanted to make something simple, but with little details to make it stand out. It's been a while since I last shared pendant ideas, and I think I'll do it a little more often; kitchen pendants in particular are the creations I've enjoyed making the most since I was little.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero que hice fue tomar la hoja blanca y comenzar a dibujar el diseño que quería para la base del colgante y, obviamente, el protagonista, que en este caso era un pollito, con su gorro de chef. Al tener lista la idea en la hoja blanca, transferí a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Base de la casa: 14 cm x 11 cm en foami salmón.
✨Techo de la casa: 14 cm x 2 cm en foami marrón.
✨Cabeza de pollo: 8 cm x 7.5 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Pico: 4 cm x 2 cm en foami naranja.
✨Gorro de chef: 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm en foami blanco.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing I did was take the white sheet of paper and begin drawing the design I wanted for the base of the pendant and, obviously, the main character, which in this case was a chick wearing a chef's hat. Once I had the idea ready on the white sheet of paper, I transferred it to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:
✨House base: 14 cm x 11 cm salmon-colored foam.
✨House roof: 14 cm x 2 cm brown foam.
✨Chicken head: 8 cm x 7.5 cm yellow foam.
✨Beak: 4 cm x 2 cm orange foam.
✨Chef's hat: 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm white foam.

✨PASO 2:
Una vez listas y recortadas todas las piezas, comencé a dar color a los bordes con pinturas y difuminé con ayuda de un pañito de algodón. En el caso de la cabeza, lo hice con marcador naranja; al gorro, con marcador marrón; al pico, con marcador naranja o rojo. En cuanto a la base de la casa, utilicé marrón claro y marrón oscuro para el techo.
✨STEP 2:
Once all the pieces were ready and cut out, I began coloring the edges with paints and blended with a cotton cloth. For the head, I did it with an orange marker; for the hat, with a brown marker; and for the beak, with an orange or red marker. For the base of the house, I used light brown and dark brown for the roof.

✨PASO 3:
Al estar secas las piezas, comencé a definir más detalles con marcadores, como sería la cresta del pollo, los ojos, cejas, el gorro del chef y, en cuanto a la casa, rellené toda la pieza con estrellitas o asteriscos en color rojo, para que se viera más lleno y con detalles.
✨STEP 3:
Once the pieces were dry, I began to define more details with markers, such as the chicken's comb, eyes, eyebrows, and chef's hat. For the house, I filled in the entire piece with red stars or asterisks to make it look fuller and more detailed.

✨PASO 4:
Comencé a pegar las piezas del pollito, como el pico en su lugar, el gorro en la parte superior derecha y, al estar formado, lo pegué en el centro de la casa y en la parte superior el techo. Además, pinté las mejillas, di puntos de luz con pintura blanca en las mejillas y en el techo pinté algunos puntos también.
✨STEP 4:
I began gluing the chick pieces, including the beak in place and the hat in the upper right corner. Once formed, I glued it to the center of the house and the roof on top. I also painted the cheeks, added highlights with white paint, and painted some dots on the roof as well.

✨PASO 5:
Para finalizar, tomé la tela con el color y diseño deseado, recorté 2 tiras, las cuales son una para colgar la creación y la otra para un lazo. Así que recorté una tira pequeña de tela de 8 cm x 1 cm, la cual pegué por atrás, en la parte superior, y otra tira de 23 cm x 2 cm, formé un lazo, recorté las puntas y pegué abajo del pollito.
✨STEP 5:
To finish, I took the fabric in the desired color and design and cut out two strips, one for hanging the creation and the other for a ribbon. So I cut a small strip of fabric measuring 8 cm x 1 cm, which I glued to the back, at the top, and another strip measuring 23 cm x 2 cm. I made a bow, trimmed the ends, and glued it underneath the chick.

Recuerden que no importa que sean pocos materiales o pienses que se ve muy simple, pues siempre le puedes agregar muchos detallitos extras con marcadores o pinturas.
