This time, I'm bringing you a step-by-step tutorial for making a pencil case decoration. This time I decided on something different and out of the ordinary: a little girl with a kitten on her head—you know, still practicing with little animals, haha. As I mentioned, I'm getting better little by little. This idea is perfect for children's pencils or for anyone who likes to personalize them.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero que debemos hacer es tomar una hoja blanca y comenzar a hacer bocetos de las ideas que tenemos en mente, como mencioné; en mi caso ya tenía una idea clara de que quería una niña, solo que no sabía si hacer una segunda opción con un gatito aparte, pero al final me decidí porque el gatito estaría encima de la cabeza de la niña. Al tener la idea de la decoración lista, es momento de transferir a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
Para la niña:
Cabeza, cuello y orejas: 4.5 cm x 3.8 cm en foami crema:
Cabello: 4.5 cm x 4 cm en foami marrón.
Ropa: 2.6 cm x 1.5 cm en foami rosa.
Para el gato:
Cabeza y orejas: 2.2 cm x 2 cm en foami gris.
Cuerpo: 4.5 cm x 2.6 cm en foami gris.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing we need to do is take a white sheet of paper and start sketching the ideas we have in mind, as I mentioned; In my case, I already had a clear idea that I wanted a girl, but I wasn't sure whether to make a second option with a separate kitten. In the end, I decided to make a second one because the kitten would be on top of the girl's head. Once I had the decoration idea ready, it was time to transfer it to the corresponding colors of foam, as I explain below:
For the girl:
Head, neck, and ears: 4.5 cm x 3.8 cm in cream foam
Hair: 4.5 cm x 4 cm in brown foam
Clothing: 2.6 cm x 1.5 cm in pink foam
For the cat:
Head and ears: 2.2 cm x 2 cm in gray foam
Body: 4.5 cm x 2.6 cm in gray foam

✨PASO 2:
Al estar todas las piezas recortadas, es momento de dar color a los bordes, con pinturas o marcadores que hagan contraste con el color del foami, ya sea un color que combine con algunas piezas o, simplemente, un color más oscuro. En este caso, yo utilicé un color marrón para la cabeza, y para el cabello un tono más oscuro. En cuanto a la ropa, utilicé un color rosa y para el gatito un color negro.
✨STEP 2:
Once all the pieces are cut out, it's time to color the edges with paints or markers that contrast with the foam color, either a color that matches some of the pieces or simply a darker color. In this case, I used brown for the head and a darker shade for the hair. For the clothes, I used pink, and for the kitten, black.
✨PASO 3:
Al estar secas las piezas, viene mi parte favorita, que es dibujar los pequeños pero importantes detalles, como los ojos, nariz, boca, cejas, orejas, cabello; detalles en la ropa, para definir mucho mejor el cabello con un tono más oscuro de marrón. El mismo proceso del rostro lo repetí en el gatito para definir mucho mejor el cuerpo, y dejamos secar.
✨STEP 3:
Once the pieces are dry, comes my favorite part: drawing the small but important details, such as the eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, ears, and hair; details on the clothes, and using a darker shade of brown to better define the hair. I repeated the same process for the kitten to better define its body, and then we let it dry.

✨PASO 4:
Al estar todas las piezas secas, es momento de comenzar a pegar las piezas de la niña: primero la cabeza al cabello, luego las piezas restantes y, por último, el gatito, el cual irá pegado encima del cabello de la niña.
✨STEP 4:
Once all the pieces are dry, it's time to start gluing the girl's pieces: first the head to the hair, then the remaining pieces, and finally the kitten, which will be glued on top of the girl's hair.

✨PASO 5:
Ya casi para finalizar, simplemente recorté para el fondo una circunferencia de 7.5 cm, con bordes semicirculares, tipo flor, en foami azul y una tira de 4 cm x 1 cm en foami azul. A ambas piezas, les di color a los bordes con un tono más oscuro y, al estar seco, hice puntos con marcador por ambas piezas.
✨STEP 5:
Almost finished, I simply cut out a 7.5 cm circle with semicircular, flower-like edges from blue foam for the background, and a 4 cm x 1 cm strip of blue foam. I colored the edges of both pieces with a darker shade, and once dry, I added dots with a marker to both pieces.

✨PASO 6:
Por último, pegamos la tira a la parte superior del lápiz o lapicera, pegamos a la circunferencia o fondo la niña con el gatito y este lo pegamos justo en medio de la tira.

Finally, I glued the strip to the top of the pencil or pen holder, glued the girl with the kitten to the circle or background, and glued the kitten right in the middle of the strip.
