This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute decorative hanging decoration. This creation is perfect for a child's room or any area of the house dedicated to little ones. I've mentioned before that I've been practicing drawing animals more lately, so you'll see me making some designs with them using foam sheets.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero es tomar nuestra hoja blanca, un lápiz y ponernos creativos a hacer el diseño del personaje o protagonista que deseamos para este diseño, que en este caso es un panda, con su ramita de bambú, acompañado de unas enredaderas y un par de margaritas. Al tener listo el diseño final para el colgante, es momento de transferir a los colores correspondientes de foami, como se explica a continuación:
✨Orejas: 2,5 cm x 1,5 cm en foami gris.
✨Cabeza: 6 cm x 5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Ojos: 2 cm x 1,3 cm en foami gris.
✨Cuerpo: 5 cm x 3,5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Patas: 3 cm x 1,5 cm y 2,5 cm x 2,3 cm en foami gris.
✨Bambú: 7,5 cm x 0,5 mm en foami verde.
✨Enredaderas: 14 cm x 2,5 cm en foami verde.
✨Margaritas: 3 cm en foami escarchado blanco.
✨Centro de flor: 0,7 mm de circunferencia en foami amarillo.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing to do is take our blank sheet of paper, a pencil and get creative in designing the character or protagonist we want for this design, which in this case is a panda, with its bamboo branch, accompanied by some vines and a couple of daisies. Once you have the final design for the pendant, it's time to transfer it to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:
✨Ears: 2.5 cm x 1.5 cm in gray foam.
✨Head: 6 cm x 5 cm in white foam.
✨Eyes: 2 cm x 1.3 cm in gray foam.
✨Body: 5 cm x 3.5 cm in white foam.
✨Legs: 3 cm x 1.5 cm and 2.5 cm x 2.3 cm in gray foam.
✨Bamboo: 7.5 cm x 0.5 mm in green foam.
✨Vines: 14 cm x 2.5 cm in green foam.
✨Daisies: 3 cm in white glitter foam.
✨Flower center: 0.7 mm in diameter in yellow foam.

✨PASO 2:
Al estar todas las piezas listas y recortadas, es el momento de dar color a los bordes de todas las piezas, utilizando colores que hagan contraste o simplemente un tono más oscuro que el del foami. En este caso, para las partes de foami gris y blanco, quise utilizar un marcador en color negro para oscurecer lo más posible el tono gris, ya que no quería utilizar un foami negro para que se pudieran ver mucho mejor los detalles con marcador negro.
✨STEP 2:
Once all the pieces are ready and cut out, it's time to color the edges of all the pieces, using contrasting colors or simply a darker shade than the foam. In this case, for the gray and white foam parts, I wanted to use a black marker to darken the gray tone as much as possible, since I didn't want to use black foam so that the details with the black marker would be much more visible.
✨PASO 3:
Al estar secas las piezas, es momento de dar los detalles como ojos, nariz, cejas, boca, definir mejor las patas, detalles al bambú y los detalles para definir mejor las enredaderas y rubor en las mejillas del panda.
✨STEP 3:
Once the pieces are dry, it's time to add details such as eyes, nose, eyebrows, mouth, better define the paws, details on the bamboo, and details to better define the vines and blush on the panda's cheeks.

✨PASO 4:
Ahora es momento de unir las piezas del panda poco a poco hasta formar el cuerpo, comenzando por la cabeza, luego el cuerpo, los ojos y las orejas, además de su rama de bambú en las patas superiores.

Now it's time to join the panda pieces little by little to form the body, starting with the head, then the body, the eyes and ears, as well as the bamboo branch on the upper paws.

✨PASO 5:
Por otra parte, tomamos cartulina y recortamos una circunferencia de 13. 5 cm. En mi caso tenía cartulina blanca, así que para darle color le pasé tiza verde e hice algunos puntos por toda la superficie para terminar pegando el panda en el centro, las enredaderas a los lados del panda y, por último, las flores en los espacios vacíos. Finalmente, pegué una tira en la parte trasera, que será donde vamos a colgar esta linda decoración.
✨STEP 5:
Next, we took some cardstock and cut out a 13.5 cm circle. In my case, I had white cardstock, so to add color, I used green chalk and made dots all over the surface. Then I glued the panda in the center, the vines to the sides of the panda, and finally, the flowers in the empty spaces. Lastly, I glued a strip to the back, which is where we'll hang this cute decoration.
