This time I share the step by step to make a beautiful mobile with a cloud design for a baby's room. One of the most beautiful decorations in babies' rooms are mobiles, and apart from being a very beautiful decoration, babies tend to be very distracted by them. However, this time the one I am sharing with you is a little designed to be placed on the door of your room. As always, I wanted to make it with some useful materials, so there aren't many excuses not to do it from home, because I find it very easy and quick to make.
Before I should mention that the name I chose for this craft is for a beautiful and much-loved baby, who, although she is yet to be born, I am already very fond of her and I hope her mommy likes this beautiful detail very much.

- Retazo de tela.
- Cartulina metalizada dorada.
- Foami escarchado fucsia.
- Foami escarchado dorado.
- Estambre.
- Cartón.

- Gold metallic cardboard.
- Fuchsia frosted foami.

⛅️ PROCEDIMIENTO | ⛅️ PROCESS
- PASO 1:
Lo primero que debemos hacer es buscar un dibujo con el diseño deseado de una nube, dibujarlo en un papel, recortarlo y luego transferirlo a la cartulina con un lápiz y recortarlo.
- STEP 1:
The first thing we must do is find a drawing with the desired design of a cloud, draw it on paper, cut it out and then transfer it to cardboard with a pencil and cut it out.
- PASO 2:
Tomamos un retazo de tela con el diseño o color deseado, que este sea 1 cm o 2 cm más grande de cada lado y pegamos la nube de cartón justo en el medio de la tela. Luego, cortar el borde de la tela en tiras de aproximadamente 1 cm cada una. Cuando tengamos todas las tiras, las pegamos de una a una, hacia el interior de la nube.
📌Cortar la tela en tiras, ayuda a que al forrar el cartón mantenga la forma de la nube.
- STEP 2:
Take a piece of fabric with the desired design or color, make it 1 or 2 cm larger on each side, and glue the cardboard cloud right in the middle of the fabric. Then cut the edge of the fabric into strips of about 1 cm each. When we have all the strips, we glue them one by one, towards the inside of the cloud.
📌Cutting the fabric into strips helps to keep the shape of the cloud when lining the cardboard.
- PASO 3:
Una vez hecho esto, buscar el dibujo de una mariposa, dibujamos en una hoja y lo pasamos al foami escarchado, en mi caso, elaboré 3 en color fucsias y 2 en color dorado. Recortar y dejar a un lado por un momento.
- STEP 3:
Once this is done, look for the drawing of a butterfly, we draw on a sheet and transfer it to the frosted foam, in my case, I made 3 in fuchsia and 2 in gold. Cut out and set aside for a moment.
- PASO 4:
Recortar 5 tiras de estambre del largo deseado, en mi caso de 30 cm cada una. Luego, pega cada tira en la parte de atrás de la nube con una distancia considerable entre sí, para que cuando pegues las mariposas no choquen entre sí. Una vez ubicado el estambre, pegar cada mariposa a la altura deseada, se pueden pegar de manera desordenada o en orden. En mi caso, las mariposas las pegué intercaladas y en tres niveles, es decir; las 2 doradas, luego 2 fucsias en el medio y 1 fucsia abajo.
- STEP 4:
Cut 5 strips of wool of the desired length, in my case 30 cm each. Then, glue each strip to the back of the cloud with a significant distance from each other, so that when you glue the butterflies they don't bump into each other. Once the stamen is located, paste each butterfly at the desired height, they can be glued in a disorderly way or in order. In my case, I glued the butterflies interspersed and in three levels, that is, the 2 gold ones, then 2 fuchsia in the middle and 1 fuchsia below.
- PASO 5:
Luego, para poder colgar, cortar un trozo de cinta o estambre, doblar a la mitad y pegar en la parte superior de la nube, justo en medio. Si quieres cubrir la parte de atrás y que quede más prolijo, corta y pega tela o cartulina negra.
- STEP 5:
Then, in order to hang, cut a piece of ribbon or yarn, fold it in half, and glue to the top of the cloud, right in the middle. If you want to cover the back and make it neater, cut and glue black fabric or cardboard.
- PASO 5:
Para finalizar, escribe el nombre o la frase que desees en cartulina dorada, utilizando el diseño de fuente que más te guste, recortar y pegar justo en medio de la nube. Como extra dibujé y recorté, una pequeña corona en foami escarchado dorado y pegué arriba del nombre.
- STEP 5:
To finish, write the name or phrase you want on gold cardstock, using the font design you like best, cut and paste right in the middle of the cloud. As an extra I drew and cut out a small crown in golden frosted foami and I glued it above the name.
