• **Step by step Tutorial**
Before starting a wig install, you want to have you hair braided down in cornrows towards the back of your head..this is done to achieve a realistic and flat looking hair,i braided my cornrows the previous day.
*after my hair was braided ..i am using an edge control to sleek back my edges..i am doing this so that the littler hair in front, dont get in the way of the install. This part is very crucial so as not to get glue on your hair.
*in the next step, i wear the thin nude cap on my head stretching it out throughly.
*After stretching out the cap on my head,i am using a threaded needle to sew down the cap onto my cornrows....from the extreme right side of my hair “close to my ears” all the way to the left side through the nape of neck as represented in the picture
*After sewing it down,i went ahead to apply glue to the front of the cap tracing along my edges, ps: you can see your edges through the cap because the cap is thin and almost transparent when stretched out....After applying the glue i used the bottom of the razor to smoothe the glue out evenly..and left to air dry to get a strong hold and then i moved on to cut the lace.
*i cut the excess stocking cap in-front of the cap right before dried glue while also cutting holes where my ears where.
*After cutting the stocking cap i used a foundation to bleach in front of the cap also extending it to the top of my head, i then went on to put on the lace frontal wig..and i also used witch hazel to clean my forehead of any extra or oils or makeup for a seamless install.
“after doing the above proces it was time to finally place the wig down and finish up the install”
*before placing the wig down,i applied some glue to the edge of the cap and a little on my skin...i applied glue three time while spreading out evenly between each application...this is so that you get a stronger hold
*I the went ahead to tie down the front of the wig where i applied glue after placing the wig down...
This is how it looks after cutting of the excess lace in front and flat ironing the hair.
*I went ahead to cut the hairs at the edge of the wig ...this shorter hair i am using to mimic baby hairs.....cutting them about an inch shorth gives the most realistic looking wig install.
I also used moose on the hair...to lay down any fly-overs on the hair and to do my baby hairs.
To do my baby hair i pumped moose on my fingers and used it to sleek and hold the hair in place..if you want an explicit explanation of how to do baby hairs on an install I recommend you look on YouTube
After the baby hairs step, the install was finally done ,but if you would like a video representation i would be linking my YouTube video of this install
