✏️ ¡Hola amigos de Hive! Espero que estén pasando un buen fin de semana. Hoy les quiero compartir un FanArt de un videojuego llamado Hollow Knight. El videojuego cuenta la historia del Caballero, en su búsqueda para descubrir los secretos del largamente abandonado reino de Hallownest, cuyas profundidades atraen a los aventureros y valientes con la promesa de tesoros o la respuesta a misterios antiguos.
Lamentablemente aún no he podido jugar porque tengo muchas cosas que hacer, pero espero que más pronto que tarde pueda tener la oportunidad de jugar está joyita.
El hecho de no haber jugado aún no fue impedimento para poder hacerle un FanArt. Me gustó mucho como está diseñado el personaje; es muy simple y casi no tuve que modificarlo.
Sin nada más que decir procedo a mostrarles el proceso.
- ✏️ Hello Hive friends! I hope you are having a great weekend. Today I want to share with you a FanArt of a video game called Hollow Knight. The video game tells the story of the Knight, on his quest to discover the secrets of the long abandoned kingdom of Hallownest, whose depths lure the adventurous and brave with the promise of treasures or the answer to ancient mysteries.
- Unfortunately I haven't been able to play it yet because I have a lot of things to do, but I hope that sooner rather than later I will have the opportunity to play this gem.
- The fact of not having played yet was not an impediment to be able to make him a FanArt. I really liked how the character is designed; It's very simple and I hardly had to modify it.
With nothing more to say I proceed to show you the process.
PROCESO | PROCESS
Hacer el boceto fue sumamente complicada, el no haber jugado nunca a Hollow Knight fue en punto bastante negativo, ya que para hacer el fondo necesitaba saber cómo eran sus ambientes.
Por ello decidí recurrí a la siempre confiable aplicación de Pinterest y empecé a buscar referencias de fondos.
Después de una larga búsqueda, finalmente pude encontrar referencias útiles y pude hacer un buen fondo. (Si alguien ha jugado el juego, por favor dígame si el fondo está bien, JAJA)
Luego de tener el fondo finalizado, lo único que me quedaba era dibujar al personaje con una buena pose y agregar pequeños detalles.
Una vez que tenía un buen boceto comencé con el estudio de color. Utilicé una paleta de colores que encontré en Pinterest y se las dejaré a continuación por si ustedes la quieres usar.
- Making the sketch was extremely complicated, never having played Hollow Knight was quite a negative point, since to make the background I needed to know what its environments were like.
- For this reason, I decided to turn to the always reliable Pinterest application and start looking for fund references.
- After a long search I was finally able to find useful references and I was able to make a nice background. (If anyone has played the game please tell me if the background is ok, HAHA)
- After having the background finished, the only thing left for me was to draw the character with a good pose and add small details.
- Once I had a good sketch I started with the color study. I used a color palette that I found on Pinterest and I will leave them below in case you want to use it
Ahora viene lo bueno. Empecé a colorear del lado izquierdo del dibujo, sombreando el primer árbol y también la columna de piedra que está de ese lado.
Luego comencé a sombrear la pared de ladrillos y las piedras grandes que están detrás del personaje.
- Now the good is coming. I started coloring on the left side of the drawing, shading the first tree and also the stone column that is on that side.
- Then I started shading the brick wall and the big stones that are behind the character.
Luego procedí a terminar el otro lado del dibujo, terminado de detallar el otro árbol que faltaba.
Terminé de colorear las hojas que caen por delante de los árboles y dos enredaderas en la parte superior.
Una vez que tenía finalizado la parte de atrás del dibujo lo único que me faltaba era agregarle la vegetación que está por delante. Agregué algunas hojas mías, y también puse unas con forma de mariposa que son parte del juego. Son muy bellas.
- I then proceeded to finish the other side of the drawing, finished detailing the other missing tree.
- I finished coloring the leaves that fall in front of the trees and two vines at the top.
- Once the back part of the drawing was finished, the only thing left to do was add the vegetation that is in front. I added some of my leaves, and I also put some butterfly-shaped ones that are part of the game. They are very beautiful.
Para esta última parte se supone que te iba a mostrar dos fotos, pero se me olvidó guardar la foto antes de que hiciera al personaje.
Pero bueno, como verán a continuación al fin terminé el fondo. Detalle el suelo y también agregué más detalles tales como: un cráneo y algunas flores de mariposa.
Ya para finalizar coloreé al personaje. Fue fácil y divertido hacerlo, también aproveché para hacer que resalte un poco más aplicado un pequeño borde blanco en su silueta.
- For this last part I was supposed to show you two photos, but I forgot to save the photo before I made the character.
- But hey, as you will see below, I finally finished the background. I detailed the ground and I also added more details such as: a skull and some butterfly flowers.
- And to finish I colored the character. It was easy and fun to do it, I also took the opportunity to make it stand out a little more by applying a small white border on its silhouette.
¡Y listo! Espero que les haya gustado este FanArt, aún no juego a Hollow Knight así que espero haber interpretado bien el dibujo.
