DIY: Convierte Bastidores de Bordar, en cuadros / DIY: Convert Embroidery Hoops into Pictures

Dicen que la CREATIVIDAD no se fuerza, pero si se puede cultivar. Una forma de cultivarla e incentivar que llegue la anhelada MUSA, es un espacio de trabajo inspirador. Mi espacio de costura y manualidades no es solo un lugar de trabajo, es el refugio y mi lugar preferido. Hay muchos detalles que voy sumando para decorarlo, incluso podrían identificar algunos a los que les hice post de Tutoriales.

Hoy les comparto un par de detalles que agregué a mi pared que está frente a mi escritorio, y los realicé aprovechando dos BASTIDORES PARA BORDAR que tengo desde hace mucho tiempo, guardados en una caja; decidí usarlos como decoración, pero quise tener la opción de desmontarlos para usarlos eventualmente, te invito a ver el post... My sewing and crafting space isn't just a workspace; it's my refuge and my favorite place. I've been adding many details to decorate it, and you might even recognize some of the ones I've featured in tutorial posts.

Today I'm sharing a couple of details I added to the wall opposite my desk. I made them using two embroidery hoops I've had for a long time, stored in a box. I decided to use them as decoration, but I wanted the option to take them down and use them again if needed. I invite you to check out the post... Welcome!

• Separa las dos piezas del Bastidor
• Introduce un trozo de tela más grande
• Cierra el bastidor y ajusta con su sistema
• Estira bien la tela hasta que quede bien tensa

• Separate the two pieces of the frame
• Insert a larger piece of fabric
• Close the frame and secure it with its mechanism
• Stretch the fabric taut until it is fully extended

Opción 1 Esto lo recomiendo en caso de que No tengas pensado usarlo:

• Una corta los bordes o excedentes de tela.

Opción 2 Esto lo recomiendo para tener la opción de desarmar todo y usar el bastidor, y luego volver a armarlo, y es la opción que utilicé :

• Recoge los excedentes de tela y realiza pliegues, aplanando bien para que no tengo mucho relieve, y fija con alfileres.

Option 1: I recommend this if you don't plan to use it:

• Cut off the edges or excess fabric.

Option 2: I recommend this if you have the option of disassembling everything and using the frame, and then reassembling it. This is the option I used:

• Gather the excess fabric and make pleats, flattening them well so there isn't too much raised fabric, and secure with pins.

Decoración 1:

• Utilizar un aplique decorativo para uno de los bastidores, y simplemente fijar con un alfiler en un ángulo no tan céntrico o simétrico para darle más interés.

Decoration 1:

• Use a decorative appliqué for one of the frames, and simply attach it with a pin at an angle that's not perfectly centered or symmetrical to add visual interest.

Decoración 2: Para esta opción elaboré dos elementos decorativos desde cero:

• Utilizando una Base para Hacer Lazos, da 4 vueltas enteras.
• Asegura con pinzas o clips de presión
• En el centro ata con otra cinta más delgada y anuda bien
• Separa las 4 vueltas del diseño
• Corta las puntas

Decoration 2: For this option, I made two decorative elements from scratch:

• Using a bow-making base, make four complete loops.

• Secure with clips or snap fasteners.

• In the center, tie with another, thinner ribbon and knot tightly.

• Separate the four loops of the design.

• Trim the ends.

El otro elemento decorativo es una figurada relacionada con la costura:

• Realiza un diseño a tu gusto, recorta
• Utiliza cartulina dorada y escarchada y pega el diseño en la parte posterior, fija con cinta de papel adhesiva

The other decorative element is a sewing-related design:

• Create a design of your choice and cut it out.
• Use gold and glitter cardstock and glue the design to the back, securing it with masking tape.

• Recorta el diseño en la cartulina
• Pega con silicón caliente a la tela del bastidor
• Pega con silicón caliente algunos balines dorados para resaltar

• Cut out the design from the cardstock.
• Glue it to the fabric of the frame using hot glue.
• Glue on some gold beads with hot glue for added highlights.

• Pega la mariposa dorada en un extremo
• Pega el lazo dorador en otro extremo

• Glue the gold butterfly to one end
• Glue the gold ribbon to the other end

Listo, me encanta poder ver estos BASTIDORES DECORANDO mi espacio, me recuerdan que siempre tengo la opción de BORDAR algún proyecto, y cuando lo desee solo desmonto la tela y posteriormente puedo volver a armar.

Pueden ver que el amarillo es mi color preferido, o uno de mis colores preferidos. El trío de cuadros que ven a la derecha en la pared, los hice el año pasado y me encanta que puedo mantener la misma paleta de colores, que destaca muy bien en la pared blanca.

Okay, I love seeing these embroidery hoops decorating my space. They remind me that I always have the option of embroidering a project, and whenever I want, I just take down the fabric and can put it back together later.

You can see that yellow is my favorite color, or one of my favorite colors. The trio of pictures you see on the right wall, I made last year, and I love that I can keep the same color palette, which stands out so well against the white wall.
