El Espejo es considerado como un objeto y también como un accesorio decorativo, particularmente las niñas disfrutan mucho tener uno ya sea para su uso personal o para la decoración de su habilitación. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles un paso a paso de como pintar y decorar un espejo con forma de flor elaborado en MDF, este es un material muy fácil de pintar, el cual además se puede barnizar y suele ser de color marrón. Para esta manualidad también pondré en práctica el reciclaje ya que, reutilizaré un espejo de un polvo compacto. A continuación, les presento el siguiente paso a paso. ¡Vamos a comenzar!

The Mirror is considered as an object and also as a decorative accessory, girls particularly enjoy having one either for their personal use or for the decoration of their room. Today I want to show you a step by step on how to paint and decorate a flower-shaped mirror made of MDF, this is a very easy material to paint, which can also be varnished and is usually brown. For this craft I will also put recycling into practice since I will reuse a mirror from a compact powder. Here is the next step by step. Let's get started!
Materiales:
•Flor de MDF
•Pinturas color blanco, verde manzana, verde oscuro, rosado (claro y oscuro).
•Pinceles
•Barniz
•Espejo redondo pequeño
•Pega blanca
•Bolillo metálico
•Aplique de coquito
•Cinta vichy rosada
•Cinta métrica
•Pistola y pega de silicon
•Tijera
Materials:
• MDF flower
• White, apple green, dark green, pink (light and dark) paints.
•Brushes
• Varnish
• Small round mirror
• White glue
• Metal ball
• Apply ladybug red black
• Pink gingham ribbon
•Measuring tape
• Gun and silicone glue
•Scissors
Paso 1
Aplica con un pincel dos capas de pintura blanca sobre las dos piezas de MDF. Estas capas de pinturas servirán de base. (colocando el fondo blanco la pintura que colocarás encima mostrará mejor su tonalidad), luego deja secar.
Step 1
Brush two coats of white paint over the two pieces of MDF. These layers of paints will serve as the base. (By placing the white background, the paint that you will place on top will show its hue better), then let it dry.
Paso 2
Una vez seca la pintura blanca, aplica el color rosado claro con un pincel de cerdas más suave, en el marco del espejo (pétalos). Luego, pinta de color verde el mango del mismo. Este procedimiento lo realizarás igual con la pieza base.
Step 2
Once the white paint dries, apply the light pink color with a softer bristle brush, on the frame of the mirror (petals). Then, paint the handle of it green. You will carry out this procedure in the same way with the base piece.
Paso 3
Aplica la pintura rosado oscuro en los costados de los pétalos de las dos piezas.
Step 3
Apply the dark pink paint to the sides of the petals of the two pieces.
Paso 4
El siguiente paso a seguir es el flotado, para esto, humedece un poco el pincel en el agua, descarga el exceso en un pedacito de servilleta, carga el pincel con la pintura rosado oscuro, sostén la pieza y desliza el pincel a lo largo de la línea que debe ser sombreada, no olvides que debes sostener el pincel siempre hacia a ti. Este mismo procedimiento lo debes realizar con la pintura verde oscuro para el mango del espejito.
Step 4
The next step to follow is the float, for this, slightly moisten the brush in the water, discharge the excess on a piece of napkin, load the brush with the dark pink paint, hold the piece and slide the brush along the line that should be shaded, do not forget that you should always hold the brush towards you. You must do this same procedure with the dark green paint for the handle of the mirror.

Toma el bolillo metálico y sumérgelo en la pintura rosado oscuro. Luego, pinta puntitos alrededor del círculo donde irá el espejito. De igual forma, pinta puntitos de color blanco sobre la pintura verde para dar unos toquecitos de luz.
Step 5
Take the metal ball and dip it into the dark pink paint. Then, paint dots around the circle where the mirror will go. Similarly, paint white dots on the green paint to give a few touches of light.
Paso 6
Aplica con un pincel el barniz para proteger la pintura.

Apply with a brush the varnish to protect the painting.
Paso 7
Coloca pega blanca alrededor de la base donde irá el espejito y presiona para que pegue bien.

Place white glue around the base where the mirror will go and press so that it sticks well.
Paso 8
Para realizar el armado del espejito, aplica pega blanca en el interior de las dos piezas y luego únelas.

Paso 9
Mide 55 cm de la cinta de vichy rosado y corta. Luego, ata la cinta en la unión de la flor y el mango y haz un lazo. Posteriormente, pega con silicon caliente el aplique de coquito sobre los pétalos de la flor.
Step 9
Measure 55 cm from the pink gingham ribbon and cut. Then tie the ribbon at the junction of the flower and the handle and make a bow. Subsequently, glue apply ladybug red black on the flower petals with hot silicone.
El espejo flor ya está terminado, ha quedado muy bonito y delicado, el detalle del coquito en los pétalos hace que el mismo luzca aún más bonito. Tienes la opción de utilizar los colores de tu preferencia para pintar los pétalos. Igualmente, puedes colocar una mariposa para decorar.
