Una chupeta que no se come........Esp-Eng.

Saludos artesanos, creadores y manualistas, que nos reunimos en esta comunidad especial para nosotros y demostrar, compartir este talento que tenemos de crear con nuestras manos bendecidas.

Hace unos dias, una vecina, profesora de un liceo, me pidio que le hiciera una chupeta, porque es la forma que parece, pero no se come, es una chupeta de carton, decorativa, con mensajes y dibujos según lo pidan, esto me recuerda, que he realizado algunas, como a mi hijo cuando estaba en primaria.

Asi que cuando ella me trajo parte de los materiales, me active, manos a la obra.

Materiales:

Carton.
Tablita de madera.
Pliego de Papel Bond Blanco.
Pinturas al frio, pinceles.
Pistola y barras de silicon.
Figuras de foami.
Tijera, lápiz, regla.
Cintas de regalos.

Hacer la chupeta.

1.- Hasta donde sabemos todas las chupetas son redondas, así que la forma debe ser circular, para esto es el cartón. Me trajeron una caja mediana, el circulo es de acuerdo al tamaño del cartón, por eso trate de hacerlo lo mas que abarcara todo el cartón.

2.- Use algo circular para hacerla, marque dos círculos ya que por ambos lados se debe usar, es decir doble cara. Marque con el lápiz, recorte luego.

3.- Cada circulo lo forre con el papel bond, le hice unas pestañas que fui pegando hacia adentro. Que luego con una bolsa plástica, hice como una esponja, pinte ambos círculos, deje secando para hacer lo demas.

4.- En uno de los círculos debía llevar la insignia o logo del liceo, el cual me mando por WhatsApp, para yo copiarlo y ver los colores y todo.

5.- Pase la insignia a las carpetas y desde ahí ampliando la imagen la copie desde la pantalla lo mas grande que pudiera entrar en una hoja tamaño carta y que también quedara dentro del circulo.

6.- Cuando ya había copiado el logo, lo repase bien con lápiz, para empezar a pintar, con los colores que son los mismos de la bandera tricolor. Poco a poco, le daba hasta dos manos de pintura. Ya seca, recorte con cuidado de no romper casi en la orilla.

7.- Para reforzar el logo, lo pegue sobre un foami oscuro, que al recortar deje como 1 centímetro de borde, por debajo le pegue unos taquitos que hice con el mismo foami, para luego pegarlo en uno de los círculos, quedando así como en relieve.

8.- Ahora vamos con lo que va en el otro circulo.

9.- Aquí debía llevar la palabra Brigada de Cultura,, primero pensé en foami hacer las letras, pero no contaba con suficiente, pero como tenia las pinturas, lo hice con pinturas.

10.- Marque otro circulo en un retazo de papel bond, doble varias veces el papel para así con los moldes de letras use unas medianas, fui escribiendo lo que llevaría.

11.- Listo los escritos a pintar, use colores que contrastaran, pero que a su vez fueran colores vivos, que las letras se pudieran ver desde cierta distancia.

12.- Cuando ya pinte todo, hice lo mismo que con el logo, recorte dejando un pequeño borde, aquí no pegue foami debajo, pero si unos taquitos, para que quedara en relieve al pegarlos. Y le pegue una florecita que tenia hecha en foami, el toque final.

13.- Faltaba la tablita de madera, esta le coloque cinta de regalo, luego las pegue en los círculos, procurando que quedaran iguales, luego peque ambos círculos en el contorno, pero no llegando a la tablita, ahí le coloque mas cintas de regalo.

Ya terminada la chupeta, esperando que la vengan a buscar.

It's a decorative cardboard lollipop with messages and drawings as requested. This reminds me that I've made some before, like for my son when he was in elementary school.

So when she brought me some of the materials, I got busy and got to work.

Materials:

Cardboard.
Small wooden board.
Sheet of white bond paper.
Cold paints, paintbrushes.
Silicone gun and sticks.
Foam figures.
Scissors, pencil, ruler.
Gift ribbons.

Making the pacifier.

1.- As far as we know, all pacifiers are round, so the shape must be circular. This is what the cardboard is for. They brought me a medium-sized box, and the circle is based on the size of the cardboard, so I tried to make it as big as possible to cover the entire cardboard.

2.- Use something circular to make it. Mark two circles, as it must be used on both sides, i.e., double-sided. Mark with a pencil, then cut out.

3.- I covered each circle with bond paper and made some tabs that I glued to the inside. Then, using a plastic bag, I made a kind of sponge, painted both circles, and left them to dry so I could do the rest.

4.- One of the circles had to feature the school's insignia or logo, which he sent me via WhatsApp so I could copy it and see the colors and everything.

5.- Drag the badge to the folders and from there, enlarge the image and copy it from the screen as large as it will fit on a letter-size sheet of paper and also remain within the circle.

6.- Once I had copied the logo, I traced it carefully with a pencil so I could start painting it with the same colors as the tricolor flag. Little by little, I applied two coats of paint. Once dry, I cut it out carefully, taking care not to tear it near the edge.

7.- To reinforce the logo, stick it onto dark foam, leaving a 1-centimeter border when cutting it out. Stick some small pieces that you made from the same foam underneath it, and then stick it onto one of the circles, so that it stands out in relief.

8.- Now let's move on to what goes in the other circle.

9.- Here I had to put the words Culture Brigade. At first I thought about making the letters out of foam, but I didn't have enough, so since I had the paints, I did it with paint.

10.- Mark another circle on a piece of bond paper, fold the paper several times so that you can use medium-sized letter stencils, and write down what you want to carry.

11.- Once the writing is ready to be painted, use contrasting colors that are also bright, so that the letters can be seen from a distance.

12.- Once everything was painted, I did the same as with the logo, cutting it out and leaving a small border. Here, I didn't stick foam underneath, but I did use some small pieces of tape so that it would stand out when I stuck it on. I stuck on a little flower that I had made out of foam as the finishing touch.

13.- The wooden board was missing, so I put gift ribbon on it, then glued it to the circles, making sure they were the same size, then glued both circles to the outline, but not reaching the board, where I put more gift ribbon.

The pacifier is finished, waiting for someone to come and pick it up.
