Today, I bring to you the Oxya hyla, also known as the Spine-kneed Grasshopper.
This grasshopper is still small, and I took many pictures from different angles — I must say, they are really beautiful.
The insect blends well with its surroundings, using a kind of cryptic coloration or camouflage to trick its enemies.
Insects like this are even used economically to clear fields in an insect-based clearing practice.
