I am Ayodeji, and I bring to you my photographs for today.
Have you ever seen a large, scary spider come close to you before? That intense feeling of disgust and the urge to kill it immediately rushes in. But at the same time, we must remember—this species is now in danger.
Meet the Giant Huntsman Spider, from the genus Heteropoda. It has eight legs and long, jointed appendages. This arachnid is a master of stealth. Though it doesn't build a typical web like other spiders, it can use silk to trap or anchor its prey, keeping them exhausted before it strikes.
It’s both terrifying and fascinating.
