Hi! I am Ayodeji Ariyo. Today, I want to tell you about a beautiful green grasshopper that we little children used to play with just for fun. We even went to the extent of using a rope to tie its long legs. Now, I captured this grasshopper not with my hands, but with my phone. Scientifically, it resembles the Oxya hyla grasshopper but Identifiers conclude that it was Chondracris Rosea.
What do you think? Also, you can see the extent of the damage they are causing. Common grasshoppers will always be grasshoppers. They say this grasshopper is common in West Africa, including Nigeria.
Here are the pictures taken during the process.
