Friends of Nature Observer, Today I made in-depth observations of the Lema Fortunei insect species in our environment. Lema Fortunei or also known as the leaf beetle is a small insect that is often found in rice fields.
This research is certainly important to understand their role. These observations include their color pattern behavior, as well as how they interact with other species.
My observations explain that Lema Fortunei is more active in the morning and evening when the air temperature is cooler. This beetle usually eats young leaves, leaving bite marks that can disturb the leaves of farmers' plants.
Even though they are classified as pests, they have very interesting things both in terms of their body shape and several other things about these leaf beetles. Let's take a look at some of the images I uploaded below.
