Microporus quarrei is a genus of fungi in the family Polyporaceae. This genus has a wide distribution and, according to estimates, contains 11 species. Mushrooms with a rather hard and inflexible texture usually have a shape like a plate, trumpet funnel or square shape.
Generally have many color variations. Such as brown, gray and orange to white. These mushrooms grow and attach to old wood or dead wood. They have a slightly long life span, this is because these mushrooms are resistant to hot temperatures.
Attached quite strongly to the growing medium. Sometimes these mushrooms are also found in larger sizes than I show here.

| iNaturalist is a citizen science platform and online social network that allows users to record and share observations about biodiversity, as well as assist in species identification. The platform allows users to upload photos or videos of plants, animals, and other organisms, which can then be identified by a community of other users. In addition, iNaturalist also has an automatic identification feature that uses computer vision to help identify species. | |
