Little egret (Buck bird) is an aquatic bird found in various parts of Asia, Africa and Europe including Bangladesh. Their bodies are quite long, and their throats and beaks are also quite long. Their main food is mainly small fish, insects, frogs etc. Buck birds are often seen around paddy fields, riverbanks or water bodies. They hunt by walking slowly or standing still. The white egret (commonly known as the egret) is a large bird with white plumage that lives mainly around marshes, rivers or ponds. Their scientific name is Egretta alba or Ardea alba and they grow from two and a half to three feet tall. Their long, narrow beaks and long legs help them hunt for food in aquatic environments. The main food of the white buck is small fish, frogs, insects etc.
Their specialty is that they can stand quietly and wait for their prey and at the right time quickly grab the prey with their beaks.
