Field Notes
Quick observation made during a walk along the roadside, a sunny and hot afternoon, humid. I did not take temperature and humidity notes, around 4 pm.
A plant that appears to be creeping is observed, the most striking thing is the large number of flowers. The flowers are mostly open, light purple with a darker center. Bell-shaped flowers, with a large pistil in the center.
The leaves of the plant are around the thin stems, intense green with reddish edges.
The area where it is found is moderately trafficked, abundant in vegetation, several species of plants are observed living together. In one of the photographs taken, a soft seed floating around is seen, in another, a small spider is seen (pending identification).
No measurements were made with a ruler, the following measurements will be approximate:
- Flower radius: ~2 cm
- Flower height: ~6 cm
- Leaves: ~5 cm
The flowers grow wild.
