I admit that I was short on inspiration for this piece. This year, I'm doing Inktober out of a sense of obligation, so I started looking at various references until I was inspired by Hellboy, a character I love. There wasn't much planning involved in making this piece; I just wanted to create a kind of knight chosen by the crown.
