Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you are all doing well. I greet all the artists who are now participating in this year's Zingtober, where they changed the contest rules a bit and I think it will help a lot to get more people to join. Since the logic of the challenge is creativity only through ink, I want to participate today with yesterday's word, which was "Murky." I thought of many options to do something until finally an idea came to me. When I thought about the suggestion of day 4, I tried to imagine something that really seemed murky to me, the image of the doctors from the time when the Black Plague occurred came to my mind. These have permeated popular culture with those uniforms of the time that seem taken from a horror movie. The character I chose was Verdion, so below you will see him dressed as a Black Plague doctor. I used 3 different types of black marker. I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que se encuentren muy bien, saludo a todos los artistas que ahora se encuentran participando en el Zingtober de este año, donde fueron cambiando un poco las reglas de concurso y creo que eso ayudará muchísimo a que más personas se sumen. Como la lógica del desafío es la creatividad solo a través de la tinta yo quiero participar el día de hoy con la palabra del día de ayer que fue "Murky", pensé en muchas opciones para hacer algo hasta que al final me vino una idea. Cuando pensé en la sugerencia del día 4, traté de imaginar algo que realmente se me hiciera turbio, vino a mi mente la imagen de los doctores de la época cuando ocurrió la peste negra, estos han calado en la cultura popular con esos uniformes de la época que parecen sacados de una película de terror. El personaje que escogí fue a Verdion, así que a continuación lo verán vestido como un doctor de la Peste Negra, utilicé 3 diferentes tipos de marcador negro, espero que les guste.

I made my drawing on white cardboard, I made Verdion little by little, first the sketch of his figure to know how I was going to put each of the accessories on him like the hat, the crow mask, the giant black tunic, also some gloves, small bags and a large staff with the Zing symbol.
Hice mi dibujo en una cartulina de color blanco, hice poco a poco a Verdion, primero el boceto de su figura para saber como iba a ponerle cada uno de los accesorios como el sombrero, la máscara de cuervo, la túnica negra gigante, también unos guantes, pequeños bolsos y un gran bastón con el símbolo de Zing.

Since I used three types of black marker, I start with the thinnest marker to make simple lines that outline my entire drawing. So I start with the face, adding each detail I drew earlier, like the crow mask. One thing I do is make its eye visible through the mask's glass.
Como utilicé 3 tipos de marcador negro, para comenzar utilizo el marcador más fino, para hacer simples rayas que delimiten todo mi dibujo. Así que comienzo desde el rostro, añadiendo cada detalle antes dibujado, como la máscara de cuervo, algo que hago es que su ojo pueda verse a través del cristal de la máscara.

With this same marker, I add ink to the lower part, and you can see how the details drawn earlier in pencil are appearing. Something I really liked and couldn't leave out is the Zing symbol, so I added it to the end of the staff as a healing symbol.
Con este mismo marcador voy colocando tinta en la parte inferior y pueden ver como va apareciendo los detalles dibujados antes en lápiz. Algo que me gustó mucho y no podía dejar por fuera es el símbolo de Zing, así que lo puse en el extremos del bastón, como símbolo sanador.

Next, I used the other markers with slightly thicker tips to make better lines on the edges and also all the shading. That's how it was finished.
Seguidamente utilicé los demás marcadores con la punta un poco más gruesa para hacer mejores líneas en los bordes y también todo lo que sería el sombreado. De esta manera quedó finalizado.
