I'm an overthinker, i sometimes travel so deep in my thoughts and sometimes my overthinking hurts me alot but i can't change it, the only thing i can do is using this overthinking in a positive way and my today's craft is a glimpse of my positive overthinking...
I was thinking about ocean healer and thinking to do something unique in my art so i got the idea of making ocean healer as mermaid.
Both these characters has so many things in common and can be merged easily. So let's move towards the procedure.....,
Procedure
I have started making this ocean healer by making a rough sketch of the character.
Later i have added details in the rough sketch of the character and also added a background in the back of the character.
After adding background i have started working on the face area of the character, where i have added different shades of lighter and darker shades of gray and peach to make it look more realistic.
Later i have added colors in the outfit of the character, as I'm giving this character a mermaid look i have added details in the dress accordingly.
After completing colors in the lower half i have moved towards hairs of the character. Where i used basic colors from the hair color of original character and filled them in the character i was working on.
The last thing that's left in this character is it's crown, mermaids do wear a crown and if ocean healer is a mermaid, so it's obvious that she'll carry a crown too.
In last i have added some extra details that makes character look more attractive.
