Hello, community greetings. I made a patch on the arm of my husband's shirt using the holozing creature Miu.
The shirt was a gift from me so my husband loves it and wears it often. But over time the elbow became worn out while the rest of the shirt was totally fine. I didn't want to throw this nice warm shirt away so I got the idea to fix the elbow with a Miu Patch on the ripped area. and now Miu sits on the elbow.
Made an approximate sketch of Miu on white cloth.
I pinned it in place covering the hole.
it was difficult to work with it but I tried my best and sewed the cloth using a chain stitch.
Trimmed any extra cloth to get the proper shape of Miu.
Started with blanket stitching all around the edges using gray thread.
After finishing the outer lines I made whiskers and paws using running stitching with brown thread.
then I used black acrylic fabric color to make the eyes.
and Miu is finished.
