Holo everyone!
We wanted to start this post with a big thank you to the community for a very successful Alpha Vial opening launch. Not only have almost 50% of all vials been opened (even before the collection reward slider favoring opened vials), but also the numerous amounts of new vials being sold since it went live. We also wanna give a big shoutout to and
for providing us with a very clean and bugfree experience!
In other news, we have recently implemented our own environment design into our world which has worked hard on. This means we will finally be able to start teasing the community with some clips, screenshots and other gameplay shots now that most of the content is ours and not borrowed from unity's database.
Unfortunately, our healer artist is not going to be available for some time to continue working on healer assets and upcoming beta items. This has lead us to look for someone who can replace him and attempt to mimic and match his quality and style (with the artist's permission), we hope to find a replacement soon. If not, however, we may have to put our healer generative nft project on a small pause and mint healers for our future players with gender and class while the actual aesthetic will be generated later. This means that players that mint a healer to potentially try out our game in alpha or get to play it when beta launches, will only know the gender and class of the healer while the exact looks of its 2D version will be revealed later when we finish things up on that front. We do however have a nice little surprise for our healer minters as well, which we will be announcing at a time closer to the minting, so stay tuned for more on that!
Before the beta launches however, we will be creating new capture devices, new ammo designs, new starter healer glove designs, a different mount, and a whole bunch of craftable consumables and healer items. With this of course also different starter creatures.
In the Beta vials, there will only be 3 starter creature types; fire, water and grass. Currently, there is only one electric creature in the wild, so for those of you who absolutely want an electric creature as your main and can't find a Zappit (Alpha Electric Starter) on the market or don't wanna lease creatures, you'll still be able to capture one in the wild or have players who've captured one sell/lease it to you.
Before we get into too many details about the Beta Vials in this post, let's dive into the Advent Calendar. This year it might be harder than any of the previous years due to our change in how often you can claim rewards which is only once every 6 hours. This means that to claim every unique day of december you have to make sure it's within a certain time-frame as there's been many people in the past missing a day or two.
Similar to last year, there'll be Holo Dust rewards for claiming every day, these rewards have however been nerfed from a max 10 Dust per day to 8 that can be claimed now as we are nearing the game's launch and these will be a big proponant of crafting.
Furthemore, we will also be sending Zing rewards to some of the top claimers both based on a specific day and based on the total claimed for the whole month, similar to last year's rewards as can be seen listed here
As always, there will also be a 2025 Advent Calendar achievement based on how many unique days you managed to claim rewards on with different rarities based on your accomplishments.
Happy claiming!
Now let's get to the fun part!
We've started working on the beta starter creatures and are happy to reveal the fire starter in this post!
Wuzaru is a fire-type monkey creature that specialises in close-quarter combat. It generates fiery melee attacks from it shoulders and strikes enemies with melee and fire damage. It'll have a focus on damage output and agility but lack defense and health compared to other creatures. Compared to our Alpha Starter Infurno it will be more melee-focused instead of having many ranged moves.
Wuzing is the evolved form of Wuzaru. Upon evolution, its stat focus will slightly shift towards higher defense while reducing agility. While it may become slower and not crit as often, its attacks are going to remain quite powerful and it starts learning even stronger moves. Similar to other fire creatures in our games, enemy attackers may get some fire damage recoil when attacking Wuzaru and Wuzing.
Keep in mind that these creatures cannot be found out in the wild, the only way to obtain them will be through Beta Vials in a future release.
Anyway, what do you think of our Beta Fire Starter, healers?
Are you excited to claim during December?
