Hi, Holozing community! First, let me introduce the French artist in the family, my daughter, Elise. :D
I bought a gouache paint for my kids and they enjoy it. My son was at school while my daughter busied herself some painting.
She's been doing some abstract painting lately and I don't want to throw all their artworks. I noticed something with her finished artwork. I'm seeing something like it's an underwater scene.
I was seeing things: a shark, a squid, some fish, some corals.
I decided to do some Holozing fan art.
Water Whale
Water Whale is the main character of this collaboration with my daughter. Lately, we've been seeing underwater scene documentaries on the French Channel. My kids love to see the blue whales or the whale sharks.

Using her artwork as the background
I am using Himi Gouache to paint the Water Whale. I am using Sky Blue to do the first layer of paint like a watercolor. I painted black and rose for the eyes area.
I have to wait and dry until I get satisfied with the layer of paints to Water Whale.
The quality of color is improving as you can see.
Maybe I did some three layers of painting to make the colors pop.
Next, I need to highlight using white paint.
I wasn't really happy with the white gouache paint so I used the white permanent marker to add some highlights of Water Whale.
I also did 3 layers of doing the white highlights. I just waited to dry.
It's time to do some black outline using the Chotune black fineliner set Mipor Pen Line point 08.
Finally, done with the black outline of the Water Whale.
Do you see what I see?
I saw a tiger shark! I was surprised that my daughter was able to paint an abstract painting of a shark.
There you go! I spotted the tiger shark and outlined it using a pencil.
I see a lot more. I saw a koi fish, a manta ray, a squid, a swordfish, a funny-looking fish, an orca from afar, a shell, etc. Let your imagination play.
I showed this final artwork to my husband. He was surprised to see a tiger shark in the background.
The Water Whale is not lonely as he is now with his fellow sea creatures.
I commend my daughter for this unexpected collaboration art with her. Her artwork is not going to waste so we put this artwork in the front door of our fridge. :D
