Art Process
I am not gonna lie... This creature is yet the hardest to draw due to its details. 😆 Yep, challenge accepted! And so, I added another character in the background- Forest Healer. I first sketched Forest healer in colored blue pen to distinguish it from Noxic's sketch. It was hard to put Noxic in a different perspective. Godo thing I found some butterfly references on Pinterest to copy the pose. I used a solid brush for the lineart and filled the spaces with the base color.
The details and colors of Noxic drove me nuts😆 It was hard to dissect at first glance but once I got to focus part by part, it got easier. The wing detail was copied and pasted on the other to save time. On the clipped layer, I began rendering the shadows.
Intensified the shadows by incorporating darker shades using an airbrush. I picked an orange-to-brown shade for the face, especially on the cheek part.
Final Art
The fun part was adding the pop of colored strips and circles. I chose a color that would match the color green. Pink, yellow, and blue really blended well altogether. Lastly, I used the text tool to write the word Holozing.
