Hello dear #Holozing friend!... Today I want to share with you my LEGO Digital Designer (LDD) creation of our super wolf evolved "INFURNAL"... I must confess that this is a fascinating creature to exercise your creativity, as it combines the fascinating character of a wolf with the magic and power of fire... And best of all: "My LEGO design software has a lot of pieces suitable for this kind of design, plus a lot of fire pieces!

Being a model based on a quadruped creature with a tail, I decided to opt for a lot of articulated pieces whose origin comes from LEGO sets oriented to robot and futuristic action figure designs. This allowed me to find design solutions for INFURNO's legs and tail, as well as to make his thorax and head flexible. I can even make it "pose" in a way that makes it look like it's ready to attack and set fire to everything around it!... ;)
Building with this type of parts provides greater detailing capacity, but also requires more parts and more hours of work. But this is no problem... This is actually delightful to do!.... Let's see below details of the assembly process to create the model and how it evolved as far as shape, pose and colours are concerned...

As usual, I start with a large catalogue of base pieces (all in red) and I do this the way I like to play with LEGO since I was a kid... Starting from scratch and trying to put and remove pieces as I put them aside! :))... Yes, I have had LEGO for as long as I can remember and I can assure you that I have always been quite anarchic when it comes to assembling things... I like to go as I go!.... I find it more fun that way and that's how I made this model of our beloved INFURNO...

Once I had more than 80% of the model finished, I started the process of colouring the parts using the LDD colour palette for this. This is as much fun to do as the process of creating the structure of the model itself.

Colocar piezas, ver como lucen, experimentar... Hay mucho que hacer a lo largo del proceso de ensamble de estos pequeños modelos digitales de LEGO...

I also made a few screenshots of the model with an empty background, so you can appreciate its details without the distraction of a with coloured environment background...
Y por ultimo, tengo estas imágenes de INFURNO en tierras más frías (al principio del post estaba rodeado de desierto)... ¡Me parece que también le gusta este entorno para batirse en duelo con sus contendientes!... ;)
The Holozing Universe is lovely and has given me some creative ideas using LEGO Digital Designer, so I will surely continue to design other creatures and share them with you... See you soon dear team! ;)
