Good Day holozing and hive I wanted to share this latest artwork of mine which is referenced on the Meowth/Team Rocket hot air balloon, in the Pokemon anime series. Pinterest Meowth Link. Can't seem to do my usual grind of 3 to 5 artworks per week like the previous couple of months, I've been pretty busy lately doing jobs that pays my bills, it is really hard living in the PH right now with the inflation going on won't tackle too much of what is the current administration doing and let me just head on and explain my art process here.
ART PROCESS ON CLIP STUDIO
Materials Used: clip studio paint software and drawing tablet which is XP PEN artist 12
- I always use blue brush strokes for my initial draft, usually in this step of the process is where you gather a lot of ideas in the internet and infos and this time around this artwork is heavily influenced by the Team Rocket of POKEMON.
- Then lower the opacity of the draft and trace over it a clean lineart, I always increase the stabilization of the brush so that I could produce a clean lineart.
- Then I hid the first layer or the draft and checked if I am already satisfied with the lineart, I want to produce a clean lineart as much as possible because my artwork works almost with the use of the lineart.
- This time is coloring the base colors of Ocean Female and Light Female healers along with Wrackoo and M1u hot air balloon.
- Then the background is a cloudy background in clip studio which I also edited a lot by drawing additional clouds so that the characters would look a lot like on a higher place in the sky.
- From here on out is the rendering process, I would say it is the most enjoyable and at the same time stressful part of the process since you need to shade and highlights each part of the whole subject.
- And lastly is adding some additional finishing touches.
