Hello Holozing!
Today was a pretty busy day, I was finishing up a website project and I received a wonderful recommendation from the client. On the other hand, I was in a brief meeting for a possible permanent job remotely. The truth is, I'm terrified of meetings, it gives me everything including nerves, stuttering and blocking. It's quite embarrassing for me, but perhaps it's my isolated life that has conditioned me in a certain way. My work has always, always been digitally behind a screen. To relax, I have decided to do a traditional drawing. The security that other activities offer me is truly amazing. For this occasion I have drawn Water Whale, now I barely realized that I could use a fine pen to outline.
Drawing, even if I don't do it professionally, satisfies many emotional things about me. One of them is anxiety, there is a calm and silence in all of that. Starting from the drawing, for this I have taken the original art of Holozing as a reference. For the rest, I created a background for Water Whale by imagining some plants and sand. I would have liked to have a fine pen, but recently I haven't gone shopping for that kind of thing
Let's take a quick look at the Water Whale drawing and painting process I did:
I have used the drawing block, pencil and my drawing set, including watercolors and an extra white cold paint. Additional a couple of brushes, one flat and one fine, plus water.
I started by drawing Water Whale, using a pencil.
Now we will move on to the painting stage, then the outline, background and some details.
Here the final result
For this occasion, it seems to be everything. If you made it this far, thank you very much for your time. Greetings, La Cochina en Salsa says goodbye.
