This time, I bring you an illustration that I finished just last night. It is a representation of the game played by my dear friends in the #Holozing community, more specifically inspired by the Ocean Healer from the game. This time, I wanted to represent the Healer in a more athletic light, and what came to mind was to illustrate him as if he were playing a baseball game against the Forest Healers team... I hope you like this idea, and here I will leave you with the process of how I made this drawing:
En esta oportunidad les traigo una ilustración la cual termine apenas anoche, se trata de una representación sobre le juego de mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing, más concreto inspirado en el Sanador del Océano del juego; en esta ocasión quise representar al Sanador en una faceta mas deportiva, y lo que se me ocurrió fue ilustrarlo como si este estuviese jugando un partido de Beisbol contra el equipo de los Sanadores del Bosque…espero les guste mucho esta idea y aquí los dejare con el proceso de como realice este dibujo:

The first thing was to focus on building the character of the Ocean Healer and adapting him to the sports style I had in mind. In this case, I decided to draw the Healer with a slightly more adolescent appearance, around 15-16 years old. I also adapted the design of his clothing a little to make it more in line with what baseball clothing would be, And, of course, I complemented the character with a large baseball bat, which she poses with on her shoulder behind her head. Once I finished the sketch, I continued with the base colouring process for my character. For the skin, I used a light salmon tone as a base, and for the hair, I used light sky blue tones, as well as for the eyes, which always complement or match her hair.
Lo primero fue enfocarme en la construcción del personaje del Sanador del Océano y adaptarlo al estilo de deportes que tenia en mente, en este caso decidí dibujar al Sanadora con una apariencia un poco mas adolescente, como de unos 15-16 años aproximadamente, también adapté un poco el diseño de su vestimenta para hacerla mas acorde a lo que seria la ropa del Beisbol, y por supuesto complemente al personaje con un gran bate de beisbol el cual posa sobre su hombro detrás de su cabeza. Una vez termine con el boceto proseguí con el proceso de coloreado base para mi personaje, en el caso de la piel use como base un tono Salmon claro, para el cabello unos tonos azules celestes también full claro, así como también para los ojos los cuales siempre se complementan o combinan con su cabello.
For the skin, I began to add volume with my airbrush, which allows for greater smoothness. Then, with a watercolour brush, I added shadows to the lower areas, such as the neck, the lower part of the nose, between the fingers, and so on, as well as highlights in the opposite areas to create a realistic effect. Then, for the eyes, I used light blue tones as I mentioned before, but in this case I decided to make the pupils a good size so that the Healer character would look a little friendlier and not so serious. I also detailed the inner part of the eyes with my hair brush and added a lot of shine to the edges.
Para el trabajo de la piel empecé a dar volumen con mi pincel aerógrafo que me permite una mejor suavidad, luego con el pincel de acuarela fui colocando las sombras en las zonas bajas, como el cuello, la parte baja de la nariz, entre los dedos y demás, así como las luces en las zonas opuestas para crear buen realismo. Después para el trabajo de los ojos use tonos celestes como les comenté antes, pero en este caso decidí usar quise darles un buen tamaño a las pupilas para que el personaje del Sanador se viese un poco mas amigable y no tan serio, detalle también la parte interna de los ojos con mi pincel que uso para pintar cabello, y le di muchos brillos en los bordes.
In the case of the clothing, I adapted it slightly to make it look more like a baseball outfit, and of course to adapt it more to my illustration style. In this case, I created trousers in light brown tones, and for the torso, I used navy blue tones to create a kind of long-sleeved sweatshirt made of sports fabric. On top of this sweatshirt, with slightly more electric blue tones, I created what would be a classic baseball shirt. I made it a little looser, with wide sleeves and open, without buttons. Finally, to create the baseball bat, use various shades of brown to represent as closely as possible the texture of wood, which is what most baseball bats are made of. Pay attention to the details of cracks and marks in the wood, and create a tape on the handle of the bat.
En el caso de la vestimenta la adapte un poco para que se asemejara mas a un atuendo de beisbol, y por supuesto para adaptarla mas a mi estilo de ilustración, en este caso cree un pantalón con tonos marrones claros, y para la parte de su torso use tonos azules marinos para crear una especie de sudadera de mangas largas y tela deportiva, y sobre esta sudadera con tonos azules un poco más eléctrico cree lo que sería la clásica camisa de Beisbol, esta la hice un poco mas holgada, con mangas anchas y abierta sin abotonar. Ya por último para la creación el bate de beisbol use tonos marrones variados, esto para representar en la medida de lo posible una textura de madera, que es de la cual están hechos la mayoría de los bats de beisbol, cuide los detalles de grietas y marcas en la madera, y cree una cinta en la empuñadura del bate.
