Good morning, my dear readers and members of the #Hive artistic community. Happy Monday and happy start to the week to everyone. I hope you are all doing well and that, like me, you have been able to fully recharge your batteries. For those who are new here, let me introduce myself. My name is Manuel, and I would like to welcome you once again to my art blog. This time, I wanted to start my week by bringing you a new illustration, or rather, a representation of the game #Holozing. This time, I wanted to represent the Ocean Healer in a more investigative or exploratory style, in a kind of North Pole or very, very cold place. and on her journey she encountered one of the dragon-like creatures from the game, the great ice dragon (Glaciox), which in this second stage becomes much larger and more robust, its head widens and the ice horns on its back and skull become much more pointed and dangerous... I hope you like my work and here is the process:
Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad artística de #Hive, feliz lunes y feliz inicio de semana para todos, espero que se encuentren super bien y que al igual que yo hayan podido recargar a full las baterías; para quienes sean nuevos por aquí pues me presento, mi nombre es Manuel, y les quiero dar la bienvenida una vez mas a mi blog artístico. En esta oportunidad quise empezar mi semana trayéndoles una nueva ilustración, una representación, mejor dicho, sobre el juego de #Holozing, en esta oportunidad quise representar a la Sanadora del Océano en un estilo o faceta mas de investigadora o exploradora en una especie de polo norte o lugar muy muy frio, y en su viaje se encontró con una de las criaturas de tipo dragón del juego como lo es el gran dragón de tipo hielo (Glaciox), el cual en esta 2da etapa se vuelve mucho mas grande y fornido, su cabeza se ensanchan y los cuernos de hielo en su lomo y cráneo se vuelve mucho más afiliados y peligrosos…espero les guste mi obra y aquí les dejo con el proceso:

I began the process of creating my artwork by making a sketch in which both the Ocean Healer and the Dragon (Glaciox) were interacting with each other. In the case of the Healer, I drew her raising her hand in a friendly gesture to caress the enormous dragon, while I drew the dragon standing upright right in front of her with an expression of happiness or joy on his face, showing a very friendly personality despite his somewhat intimidating appearance. Having finished the line art, I moved on to the next section, coloring. In this case, I started with the base of the Healer's skin. For this, I used a color palette with slightly light tones to gradually build up the shape of the skin with shadows and highlights, which I like to do using the airbrush and watercolor brushes.
Di inicio al proceso de mi obra realizando un boceto en el cual tanto la Sanadora del Océano como el Dragon (Glaciox) estuviesen interactuando entre sí, en el caso de la Sanadora la dibuje elevando su mano amigablemente para acariciar al enorme dragón, mientras que en el caso del dragón lo dibuje erguido justo frente a ella con una expresión de felicidad o alegría en su rostro, demostrando una personalidad muy amigable a pesar de su algo intimidante apariencia. Ya habiendo culminado con el line art continúe con el siguiente apartado, el de coloreado, en este caso empecé con la base de la piel de la Sanadora, para esto usé una paleta de colores con tonos un poco claros para ir escaldón de a poco y construyendo la forma de la piel con sombras y luces, y esto me gusta hacerlo usado el pincel aerógrafo y el de acuarela.
For the second stage of my coloring process, I continued painting the eyes. As I mentioned before, my intention was to convey a friendly personality for the healer, so with that in mind, I painted the eyes quite large to convey tenderness, as well as a slight smile as she looks at the creature in front of her. Then, for the clothing, I varied the classic Healer design a little to adapt it more to my style. In this case, I used light gray and white tones to create a kind of youthful blouse. Then, to create the classic jacket representative of these characters, I adapted the design and colors a little, using many more shades of blue for the base, but maintaining the classic essence of the original character. I also used shades of blue for the lapels and collar.
Para la 2da etapa de mi proceso de coloreado continúe con el pintado de los ojos, como les comenté antes mi intención era transmitir para la sanadora una personalidad amigable, entonces teniendo en cuenta eso pinté los ojos con un tamaño bastante grande para transmitir ternura, así como una leve sonrisa mientras mira a la criatura frente a ella. Luego para el pintado de la ropa varié un poco el diseño clásico de la Sanadora para adaptarlo un poco mas a mi estilo, en este caso use tonos grises claros y blancos para crear una especie de blusa juvenil; luego para la creación de la clásica chaqueta representativa de estos personajes adapte un poco el diseño y colorido, use muchos mas tonos azules para la base, pero manteniendo la esencia clásica del personaje original, también use tonos azules para las solapas y el cuello.
With regard to the creation of the great dragon (Glaciox), I took a little more time to achieve a good level of detail. The first thing I did was to use some strong navy blue tones to begin building the basic shape of the body, and in the case of the arms, I gave them quite a lot of musculature with my airbrush. For the eyes, I used soft purple and white tones, and for the inside of the mouth, I used slightly more intermediate reds. Here, as I had done with the healer, I wanted to convey a friendly and happy personality for Glaciox, showing that he likes the healer in front of him. Finally, I set the whole scene as the place where the dragon (Glaciox) lives, as if it were a very cold and stormy place. Here I used a lot of shades of blue and white to create some ice mountains in the distance, as well as to set the mood of the sky and create some clouds, and finally I complemented it with a soft snow effect.
Con respecto a la creación del gran dragón (Glaciox) si me tomé un poco más de tiempo para lograr un buen nivel de detallado, lo primero fue tomar algunos tonos azules marinos fuertes para comenzar a construir la forma básica del cuerpo, y en el caso de los brazos les di bastante musculatura con mi pincel de aerógrafo. Para la creación de los ojos use tonos morados suaves y blancos, y para la parte interna de la boca rojos use un poco más intermedios, aquí al igual que como había hecho con la sanadora tuve la idea de transmitir una personalidad amigable y contenta para (Glaciox), demostrado que la Sanadora frente a el le agrada. Finalmente, ambiente todo el escenario como el lugar donde habita el dragón (Glaciox), como si se tratase de un sitio con clima muy frio y tormentoso, aquí use una gran cantidad de tonos entre azules y blancos para crear algunas montañas de hielo a la distancia, así como para ambientar un poco el cielo y crear algunas nubes, y por último complemente con un efecto de nieve suave.
