Your friend Manuel here sends his greetings—I’m super excited to share a new artistic post on my blog with you all. This time, I’m bringing you a new artistic piece focused on the game created by my dear friends in the #Holozing community. A few days ago, I drew the Forest Healer accompanied by the little dragon (Drazing), and this time I wanted to stick with the dragon theme, which is why I decided to illustrate the grass-type dragon (Verdarox), but I didn’t want him to be alone in my drawing, so I decided to have him accompanied by the little raccoon (Wrackoo), who would be perched on his back, as if he were his rider and faithful adventure companion… Here’s the process, and I hope you enjoy it:
Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de #hive, feliz sábado y feliz fin de semana para todos los que se encuentran por aquí leyéndome en esta oportunidad, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. Esta oportunidad les traigo una nueva representación artística enfocada en el juego de mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing, hace algunos días atrás había dibujado a la Sanadora del Bosque acompañada del pequeño dragón (Drazing), y en esta ocasión quise mantenerme en la temática de las criaturas dragón, y fue por ello que decidí ilustrar al dragón de tipo hierva (Verdarox), pero no quise que estuviera solo en mi dibujo, es por ello que se me ocurrió acompañarlo del pequeño mapache (Wrackoo), el cual iría posado sobre su lomo, como si fuese su jinete y fiel compañero de aventuras… aquí les dejo el proceso y espero lo disfruten:

As is my usual practice with all my drawings, I like to start with a structural sketch that establishes the basic shape and pose of the characters. In this case, I sketched the grass dragon (Verdarox) in full-body form, standing on two legs, while the smaller one (Wrackoo) clung to its neck. Once I finished the sketch, I moved on to the painting process. In this case, I started by painting (Verdarox) with kiwi green and mushy green tones. At this stage, I only used rough brushes to achieve a coarse texture, like that of a real dragon; I also used slightly darker greens for the middle section, which runs from the neck to the tail.
Como es habitual en todos mis dibujos me gusta empezar con un boceto estructural que me de la forma básica y pose de los personajes, en este caso dibuje al dragón de hierva (Verdarox) con una estructura a cuerpo completo, parado sobre 2 patas, mientras el pequeño (Wrackoo) se sostenía de su cuello. Al terminar con el boceto proseguí con el proceso de pintado, en este caso empecé pintando a (Verdarox) con tonos verde kiwi y verde pastoso, en esta etapa solo utilice pinceles ruidosos para lograr una textura áspera, como la que tendría un dragón de verdad; use también verdes un poco mas oscuros para la parte media que va desde el cuello hasta la cola.
In the second stage, I painted (Verdarox)’s eyes to give him a serious expression, as if he were a little annoyed that (Wrackoo) was using him as a vehicle. Here, I used shades of yellow and orange for the iris and pupil, and white for the highlights. For the dragon’s tail and head, I used pink tones to create a sort of algae that clings to the skin, making it look a bit more natural but, above all, very textured. For the claws, I used intense red and pink tones; in this case, I used a fine brush to work on the highlights and shadows to achieve a sharp appearance on both the upper and lower claws.
En la 2da etapa realice el pintado de los ojos de (Verdarox) para darle un poco de expresión seria, como si estuviera un poco molesto de que (Wrackoo) lo usara como vehículo, aquí use tonos amarillos y naranjas para el trabajo del iris y la pupila, también use tonos blancos para los brillos. En el caso de la cola y la cabeza del dragón use tonos rosados para crear especies de algas que se acoplara a la piel y se viera un poco mas naturales, pero sobre todo con mucha textura. Para el trabajo de las garras usé tonos rojos y rosados intensos, en este caso con un pincel fino fui trabajando las luces y sobras para lograr una apariencia filosa tanto en las garras superiores como las inferiores.
To create (Wrackoo), I used green tones with a slightly more opaque finish. I built the basic shape of its body with an airbrush to achieve a texture different from that of the accompanying dragon; then, using yellow and white tones, I began to create the fur details around the creature’s (Wrackoo) neck and eyebrows; for this, I used a bristle brush and a fine-tipped brush. Toward the end, I complemented the piece with an open forest scene featuring many trees forming a sort of forest path, and for the background, I added clouds and a sky that fades into the distance.
Para la creación de (Wrackoo) use tonos verdes con un poco más de matiz opaca, construí la forma básica de su cuerpo con aerógrafo para conseguir una textura diferente a la del dragón que lo acompaña; luego con tonos amarillos y blanco comencé a crear los detalles de pelaje alrededor del cuello y las cejas de la criatura (Wrackoo), para esto me ayude un poco de mi pincel de cerdas y otro de punta fina. Ya casi al final complementé la obra con un escenario de bosque abierto con muchos arboles alrededor formando una especie de sendero de bosque, y para el fondo complementé con nube y un cielo que se pierde a la lejanía.
