Very good morning my dear readers, happy Thursday to all of you and I hope you are feeling great, today is a very special day since this great dynamic culminates as it was the #Zingtober, this is the first time I participate in a dynamic like this and I must say that it fascinated me a lot, being able to let my hand go and draw almost every day I could was something very cool for me, plus it helped me to recharge the bar of inspiration that often runs out or stagnates a little to us artists. Today's word of the day was (Landmark), and basically what I set out to do was to represent a world famous and historical monument such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa; in this case I represented it as we know it and decided to add the creature (Zappit) doing the typical pose of trying to stop it from falling XD:
La palabra del día de hoy era (Landmark), y básicamente lo que yo me propuse fue representar un monumento mundialmente famoso e histórico como lo es La torre inclinada de Pisa; en este caso la represente tal cual como la conocemos y decidí agregarle a la criatura (Zappit) haciendo la típica pose de tratar de detenerla para que no se caiga XD:

The sketching process was the usual, first I try to place the character well and interact with their environment in a very natural way, in this case I chose to draw the Tower of Pisa almost in the center of my canvas, and a little further forward to (Zappit), giving the idea of being next to it, I drew the creature with his arms raised as if he was trying to prevent the structure of the tower from falling. The coloring started with the creature, here at the beginning I like to use light gray tones to darken the things that are in the back part, in the case of (Zappit) I used light grays to detail its fur in the abdomen and the area of the ears.
El Proceso de bocetado fue el acostumbrado, primero trato de ubicar bien al personaje y de que interactúe con su entorno de una manera muy natural, en este caso opte por dibujar la Torre de Pisa casi en el centro de mi lienzo, y un poco más adelante a (Zappit), dando la idea de estar junto a ella, dibuje a la criatura con sus brazos elevados como si este tratase de evitar que la estructura de la torre se caiga. El coloreado lo inicie con la criatura, aquí al empezar me gusta usar tonos grises claros para luego ir oscureciendo las cosas que están en la parte más atrás, en el caso de (Zappit) use grises claros para detallar su pelaje en el abdomen y la zona de las orejas.
The painting of the Monument to (the Tower of Pisa) I tried to use grays a little more intermediate and grays a little darker on the left side to represent where the shadows would be, little by little I was creating small details of curves and as vertical columns that gave the appearance to the windows of the monument. When I had more or less well detailed most of the stature the next thing I did was to give a little more volume with a soft light gray on the edges of the right side, here I tried not to press too much on the strokes, as this way the rocky texture of the exterior would look much better.
El pintado del Monumento a (la Torre le Pisa) trate de usar grises un poco mas intermedios y grises un poco mas oscuros en el lado izquierdo para representar donde estarían las sombras, poco a poco fui creando pequeños detalles de curvas y como columnas verticales que dieran la apariencia a los ventanales del monumento. Ya cuando tenía más o menos bien detallada la mayor parte de la estatura lo siguiente que hice fue ir dando un poco mas de volumen con un gris claro suave en los bordes del lado derecho, aquí si trate de no presionar mucho en los trazos, ya que así la textura rocosa del exterior se vería mucho mejor.
Around the monument I created a kind of metal fence or handrail, and on the floor I textured a little creating some grass. For the background I thought of doing something like a park to complement my illustration, I created a kind of large forest in the background with lots of vegetation, this helped me to give a little more depth to my work; I also painted some clouds in the sky and some birds flying in the distance to be the final touch.
Alrededor del monumento cree una especie de cerco o barandal metálico, y en piso texturice un poco creando algo de grama y pasto. Ya para el fondo se me ocurrió hacer algo así como un parque que complementara un poco mi ilustración, cree una especie de gran bosque justo en el fondo con mucha vegetación, esto me ayudo a dar un poco mas de profundidad a mi obra; también pinte algunas nubes en el cielo y algunas aves volando a lo lejos que fuesen el toque final.
