Glimmo, watch out! Bees!
Glimmo, ¡cuidado! ¡Abejas!
Today I wanted to make a drawing of Glimmo, well, to color it, because I’m returning to another drawing inspired by Inktober. I drew Glimmo back then running while being chased by bees; it was my favorite drawing from that week of Zingtober, and I couldn’t leave it just in black and white ink. I wanted to color it, and digitally, since I still have the traditional drawing. I liked how fun this drawing is and Glimmo’s expression, it’s one of my drawings with the best facial expressions. I don’t know what you think, but I also really liked the composition of the drawing.
Hoy quise realizar un dibujo de Glimmo, bueno, colorearlo, porque vuelvo a otro dibujo inspirado en el Inktober. Dibujé aquella vez a Glimmo corriendo mientras era perseguido por abejas; fue mi dibujo favorito de esa semana del Zingtober y no podía dejarlo solo a tinta blanca y negra. Quería colorearlo, y en digital, aún guardo el dibujo tradicional. Me gustó lo divertido de este dibujo y la expresión de Glimmo, que es de mis dibujos con mejores expresiones faciales; no sé qué crees, la composición del dibujo también me gustó mucho.
Well, after a while drawing and correcting lines of the original drawing in ink, this was the result: a simple drawing, very easy to color, which will be the next step, to give it color so that the whole drawing comes to life.
Bueno, después de un rato dibujando y corrigiendo líneas del dibujo original a tintas, este fue el resultado: un dibujo simple y muy sencillo de colorear que será el siguiente paso, darle color para que todo el dibujo cobre vida.
And the first thing I colored was the bees because they are very easy to color, and because if you follow me, you know I love these insects; I liked how these little yellow bees turned out.
Y lo primero que coloreé fueron las abejas porque son demasiado fáciles de colorear, y porque si me siguen saben que amo estos insectos; me gustó cómo quedaron estas abejitas amarillas.
A few colors later, and with a bit of shine, lights, shadows, and small details, I already have Glimmo fully colored. The only thing left is to do the background of the drawing. I will also make some action lines that go from the edges to the center of our dear little turtle to emphasize the movement, and done, drawing finished. What did you think?
Unos colores más tarde, y con un poco de brillo, luces, sombras y detalles pequeños, ya tengo a todo Glimmo bien coloreado. Solo resta hacer el fondo del dibujo, también haré unas líneas de acción que vayan desde los bordes al centro de nuestra querida tortuguita para enfatizar el movimiento, y listo, dibujo terminado. ¿Qué les pareció?
