Hello, some time ago I made a drawing of Zingu for Zingtober. Some time has passed since that drawing, and as I am coloring my ink drawings, or rather, taking them to digital, correcting ink errors and adding color where there used to be black and white. The story I told about my drawing was very simple. Zingu has to take an exam, an exam given by the Healers to become part of a nature protection squadron. But he failed his exam and is very angry, so angry that he tore the sheet with his evaluation grade. I think that Zingu, before taking the exam, should work on his self-control, don't you think?
Hola, hace un tiempo hice un dibujo de Zingu para el Zingtober. Ha pasado un tiempo desde ese dibujo y como estoy coloreando mis dibujos de tinta, más que coloreándolos, llevándolos a digital corrigiendo errores de la tinta y dando color donde antes había blanco y negro. La historia que narré sobre mi dibujo era muy simple. Zingu tiene que tomar un examen, un examen que imparten los Healers para formar parte de un escuadrón de protección de la naturaleza. Pero falló en su examen y está muy enfadado, tan enfadado que rompió la hoja con su nota de evaluación. Creo que Zingu, antes de tomar el examen, debería trabajar en su autocontrol, ¿no creen?
This was my original ink drawing, as you can see I barely filled in the black to achieve better contrasts. I will have to correct all of that first. After I correct the black, I will erase some small ink errors and refine some edges. I will do all this work by importing the original image into Ibis Paint and using some solid brushes and the eraser.
Este fue mi dibujo original a tinta, como ven apenas rellené el negro para poder lograr mejores contrastes. Todo eso tendré que corregirlo primero. Después, que corrija el negro, borraré algunos pequeños errores de la tinta y refinaré algunos bordes. Todo este trabajo lo haré importando la imagen original a Ibis Paint y utilizaré algunos pinceles sólidos y la goma.
That's how my drawing turned out once I made all the corrections I mentioned earlier. Now it's time for fun: the moment to color the entire drawing. Although Zingu is a character with barely any colors, he is a penguin, but he has several details that, with the right colors, make the drawing look very nice. I will also add colors and some lights and shadows.
Así quedó mi dibujo una vez que hice todas las correcciones que mencionaba anteriormente. Ahora es el momento de la diversión: el momento de colorear todo el dibujo. Aunque Zingu es un personaje con apenas colores, es un pingüino, pero tiene varios detalles que, con los colores correctos, hacen que el dibujo quede muy bonito. Agregaré también colores y algunas luces y sombras.
To draw attention to the character, I will add a blue background that contrasts and some lines that emphasize him. Done, I liked how this drawing turned out, and I think Zingu's angry expression is very funny. Thank you for joining me for another day of drawing.
