Hello #holozing community!
I am back again, after my first trial, I have been off the community, but today after a long pause, I decided to do something with my yarn, while I have fun with it. The Macrame bracelet fan art using yarn is inspired by a character known as WOOLIO.
I used two different colours of yarn to make this bracelet, I decided to go extra by getting beads for today's art, since I was doing the Woolio fanart, I went ahead to look for the alphabet beads to be able to spell out the Woolio fanart on my bracelet. You remember I told you all that I would be doing that in my next macrame fanart bracelet, so tada! Here I come.
The listed materials were used in making this beautiful bracelet;
- Yellow yarn
- White yarn
- A pair of scissors
- A lighter
- Alphabet bead
My Steps
First I cut out the two different lengths of yarn I would be using to make my bracelet, I made sure to cut a long length enough to go around my wrist.
Then I went ahead to tie the three strands of yarn together, to enable me to work with ease, as that is how best I know how to work.
I started my knotting by picking the middle strand, passing it over the right strand, creating a tiny opening with the right strand, then I picked the left strand and inserted it into the opening I created with the right strand earlier thereby knotting the pieces together.
I kept knotting until I knotted a total of eight and I went in with my first alphabet bead, which is W
Then I continued following the same procedure until I finished fixing all the alphabet letters spelling the fanart name.
After getting to my desired length I cut off the excess threads with my scissors and used my lighter to seal the necessary places that needed to be sealed.
Thank you for reading my blog!!!
