The first thing I do is digitize the sketch, and I may change some things in it. In this digital version, I changed the mouth and eyes a little, making him look a little more unfriendly. Everything else remained the same.

When I have the sketch ready, I start working on the color, always applying a base color to the entire drawing from the beginning and then adding the other colors to each area of the character.
Cuando tengo listo lo que es el boceto, lo que comienzo a hacer es trabajar el color, colocando siempre desde el principio un color base en todo el dibujo y luego voy agregando los demás colores en cada zona del personaje.

Once I have applied the base colors, I begin to add details. I always start with the face first, and then move on to the rest. When the face is ready, I move on to the clothes, then the hair, and so on until the entire drawing is finished.
Ya con con los colores base puestos, comienzo a detallar todo. El rostro es lo primero que hago siempre, para luego irme a trabajar todo lo demás. Cuando tengo listo el rostro, paso a detallar la ropa, luego el cabello y así hasta terminar todo el dibujo.

The last thing I do is add a simple background and add some final details to the character, correct a few things, and add my signature, and that's how I would finish this illustration.
Lo ultimo que hago es agregar un fondo simple y agregar alguno detalle final en el personaje, corregir algunas cosas y agregar mi firma y es así como terminaría esta ilustración.
