community , I want to show you my fan art of The fire wolf.
This is my first time posting here, but when I saw the designs of the creatures, I was motivated to make a fan art because I really liked the design of the characters, I found them very original and cute!. I started by choosing the fire wolf for being one of the most striking (besides the wolf is my favorite animal) and with its reference image I made a small sketch with some details in my style but without losing the essence of the original. One of the things that I found a challenge to do were the flames that surround it.
I started by making shapes to define the pose, I left a pose similar to that of his main image. Then, once I had the sketch as I wanted, I applied the basic colors. I went on to draw the fire, but the shape was a little complicated. However, as I progressed, I added more details until I was satisfied with the result of the flames.
For his face, I wanted to make it even more tender, so I drew him sticking out his tongue, I put some glitter in his eyes and some shadows around them. After that, I went on to give him a cleaner lineart. While for the background, I went for a dark tone with some fuchsia and red wine details. Finally, I added a texture with noise to make it look more like a painting.

For this part I decided to change the background to a very dark one to make the flames stand out.
