Good afternoon, holozing friends! As always, I'm happy to stop by again to share a beautiful light switch decoration idea, inspired by Noxic. I've always liked Noxic's wings; they're colors that go together perfectly, and I love that base tone. I'm not sure if it's black combined with purple or a dark purple. That's why I wanted to try using a purple color and blending a black shadow to see the result, and I really liked it.

✂️ MATERIALES | ✂️ MATERIALS
- Cartulina escarchada dorada.
- Foami escarchado rosa.
- Foami morado.
- Foami verde.
- Foami amarillo.
- Pinturas y marcadores.

PROCEDIMIENTO | PROCESS
- ✨ PASO 1:
Lo primero que hice fue la base para la decoración, tomando las medidas y la forma del interruptor. En mi caso, yo puedo desarmar la superficie del mío para simplemente calcar a la cartulina, pero ustedes pueden tomar las medidas y hacer el diseño a gusto. En mi caso, las medidas fueron de 11 cm x 7.5 cm y para la parte del botón 1.6 cm x 3.2 cm.
- ✨ STEP 1:
The first thing I did was the base for the decoration, taking the measurements and shape of the light switch. In my case, I can take apart the surface of mine and simply trace it onto the cardstock, but you can take the measurements and create the design however you like. In my case, the measurements were 11 cm x 7.5 cm, and for the button part, 1.6 cm x 3.2 cm.
- ✨ PASO 2:
Ahora es momento de dibujar el diseño de Noxic en una hoja blanca, que en mi caso fueron las alas y, seguidamente, pasé a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Dos piezas de las alas en foami morado de 7.5 cm x 3.5 cm y 3 cm x 1.5 cm.
✨Dos piezas internas en foami verde de 2.5 cm x 3 cm y 2.5 cm.
✨Dos piezas internas en foami amarillo de 2 cm x 1.5 cm y de 1.5 cm.
✨Dos círculos en foami escarchado rosa de 1 cm.
- ✨ STEP 2:
Now it's time to draw the Noxic design on a white sheet of paper. In my case, these were the wings. Then, I moved on to the corresponding foam colors, as explained below:
✨Two wing pieces in purple foam measuring 7.5 cm x 3.5 cm and 3 cm x 1.5 cm.
✨Two inner pieces in green foam measuring 2.5 cm x 3 cm and 2.5 cm.
✨Two inner pieces in yellow foam measuring 2 cm x 1.5 cm and 1.5 cm.
✨Two circles in pink frosted foam measuring 1 cm.
- ✨ PASO 3:
Al tener todas las piezas recortadas, es momento de mi parte favorita, que es dar color a los bordes para dar contraste a las piezas, utilizando pinturas o marcadores y difuminando con ayuda de un pañito de algodón. Al estar secas todas las piezas, comencé a dar detalles con marcadores a las alas. A las alas base, les hice unas líneas curvas a un lado y para las piezas internas, solo definí un poco la forma o separación de cada una.
- ✨ STEP 3:
With all the pieces cut out, it's time for my favorite part: coloring the edges to add contrast, using paints or markers and blending with a cotton cloth. Once all the pieces were dry, I began adding details to the wings with markers. For the base wings, I drew some curved lines on one side, and for the inner pieces, I only defined the shape or separation of each one.
- ✨ PASO 4:
Casi para finalizar, uní todas las piezas hasta formar las alas de Noxic y pegué a los laterales de donde irá el botón del interruptor. Además, hice rápidamente una flor en foami amarillo, centro de foami escarchado dorado, di color a los bordes, al centro, pegué y luego pegué en la parte baja del interruptor.
- ✨ STEP 4:
To finish, I joined all the pieces together to form Noxic's wings and glued them to the sides where the switch button will be. I also quickly made a flower out of yellow foam, a gold frosted foam center, colored the edges, glued them, and then glued them to the bottom of the switch.
