In the end I decided on Drazing, the normal type dragon, since it had the right thread colors; then I will go looking for the colors of the other dragons so I can start making them.
I was also looking at the designs of the new characters who I don't think have names yet, but I'll do them anyway. I still have many characters to embroider. I still have the intention of doing them all, which is why free time is not with me. And if we add to this the prolonged power cuts in my country that lead to the lack of internet, it becomes a little more difficult for me. But well, less frequently, but here I continue sharing my art with you. Next, I show you the materials necessary for its preparation and the step by step of the creative process.
Hola, comunidad Holozing, hace unos días, tratando de elegir cuál sería el protagonista de mi nuevo fanart me di cuenta de que nunca había bordado un dragón. Al final me decidí por Drazing, el dragón de tipo normal, ya que contaba con los colores de hilo adecuados; luego iré buscando los colores de los demás dragones para poder comenzar a hacerlos.
También estaba mirando los diseños de los nuevos personajes que creo que aún no tienen nombre, pero de igual forma los haré. Aún me quedan muchos personajes por bordar. La intención de hacerlos todos aún la tengo, lo que el tiempo libre no me acompaña. Y si a esto le sumamos los cortes eléctricos tan prolongados en mi país que conllevan la falta de internet, se me hace un poco más difícil. As usual, the first thing I do is mark the inside silhouette of the embroidery hoop on a sheet of paper and then draw the character inside. This way I know precisely the size of it. With the help of carbon paper, I transferred the drawing to the fabric; This makes it easier for the design to be neat and we avoid making mistakes if we draw directly on the fabric. As you will see, the drawing on the fabric is a little clear, so it is necessary to go over all the lines with a pen to prevent them from being erased by hand manipulation and thus improve the visibility of the drawing. Finally, the fabric is placed tightly stretched in the embroidery hoop.
Como de costumbre, lo primero que hago es marcar la silueta interior del aro de bordar en una hoja de papel para luego dibujar el personaje dentro. De esta forma sé con precisión el tamaño de este. Con la ayuda de un papel carbón, transferí el dibujo a la tela; esto facilita que el diseño quede prolijo y evitamos cometer errores si dibujamos directamente en la tela. Como verán, el dibujo en la tela queda un poco claro, por lo que es necesario repasar todas las líneas con un bolígrafo para evitar que se borren con la manipulación de las manos y así mejorar la visibilidad del dibujo. Por último, se coloca la tela bien estirada en el aro de bordar.

I did this embroidery completely with a hand needle using the step back stitch, which I find to be the easiest for this type of embroidery. I started with black thread to embroider the entire silhouette of the character, making small stitches that allowed me a better finish on the curves.
Este bordado lo hice completamente con aguja de mano utilizando la puntada de paso atrás, que me parece que es la más fácil para este tipo de bordado. Comencé con el hilo negro para bordar toda la silueta del personaje, haciendo puntadas pequeñas que me permitían un mejor acabado en las curvas.

With green and pink thread I embroidered the inside of the eyes and mouth respectively; These were tiny parts, just a small strand was enough.
Con hilo verde y rosa bordé el interior de los ojos y la boca respectivamente; estas eran partes diminutas, con una simple hebra pequeña fue suficiente.

I continued with the white thread, already making much longer stitches when necessary. Always in the same direction so that it looked more beautiful. With this color I embroidered the belly, the rest of the eyes, the inside of the ears and the wings and the sharp claws.

Finally, with a medium tone gray thread, I finished embroidering Drazing's entire body. To speed up the process, I used two strands to fill in faster and make this part of the skin thicker.
Por último, con un hilo gris de un tono medio, terminé de bordar todo el cuerpo de Drazing. Para acelerar el proceso, utilicé dos hebras para ir rellenando más rápido y que quedara más tupida esta parte de la piel.
