💪Let the Donations begin!🤘
As seen above we started the purchase of items for donations to the Syracuse Vet Center which offer's confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Our services include counseling for needs such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). We can also connect you with more support in VA and your community. Not imaged is the $100 that is going to them for food. Which will more then likely be from Aldi's in the form of $25 Gift cards (What I received) it means a lot to us to bring this to Hive and real life use!
I first became involved with the Vet center by my Doctor for my PTSD transferred there from the VA (Veterans Affairs) system and I decided to continue my therapy with her as my Dr. At the time she had transferred I was going through the worst time I had been through since the war, I was going through my divorce and wasn't seeing my children for what would be a long 9 months of separation. While working through this I built up lots of legal fees and learning to live on my own followed by Child Support that is rather high, the Vet center helped me with meals, socks, underwear everything that I needed as I was only left with what didn't fit. All the way down to helping with Christmas gifts for my children, sponsoring holiday meals for me and everything. This made them a perfect match for what

and I were looking for. What makes the Vet center great from having to find people and going from mission to mission, the vet center does foot work as well they outreach to the veterans in the community for their needs so I know they will be dispersed the same they were to me. It has been a process to get this first round out the gate with my schedule and then my contact at the center itself with his out reach, with injured back and all we have it set up for him to come to my home and pick up the items. Which this exchange will be recorded and placed on YouTube where there will be a special episode on my channel promoting Hive as a whole and the overall goal and achievement of that first donation. this will be shared as well as the results of our first sponsored tournament on Lucksacks Poker learn about this tournament and its prizes and those involved On @inthenow's post here Keep an eye out for that video and the results to the tournament on Tuesday morning.
