The rainy season has arrived early this year in Thailand. This suited the trees and plants in my garden very well. But the drawback was the strong wind which could cause damages to some fruit trees and the house. Recently we had a terrifying storm with loud noises and incredibly strong wind.
My cats were so frightened by the rain storm that they went into hiding; one was under the cabinet while the other was hiding in the small gap between some chairs and plastic cover. I was quite worried by the strength and duration of the storm as I could see how all tall trees were shaking and swaying in all directions. Luckily, no big branches got snapped by the gale force wind.
Cycling along the river front during late afternoon was really refreshing as the temperature started to cool down and the evening sky changed into a display of sunset colours. The heavy dark clouds started to gather for a show of strength and exerted the menace of a powerful rain storm in a few hours. These clouds were playing a game with walkers abs cyclists along the riverfront. Those clouds looks so heavy and dense that some pieces might drop onto our heads.
A motorcycle passed me by in a hurry while urging me to get back home as soon as possible. But the other side of the sky was still very bright and sunny. So, I reckoned those heavy clouds might be too heavy to travel very far. This should give me plenty of time to enjoy myself by the river.
Fortunately my guesstimate was correct and I could spend almost an hour by the river. When the wind started picking up on velocity, I thought I’d better make my way home. The waterfront was deserted much earlier so I had a very nice and quiet time with the river and I thanked the river and all beings along the river for keeping me company during my walk.
Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.
Stay strong and cheerful.
