There is so much beauty around me all the time here in Lower Puna, on the far eastern tip of the Big Island of Hawai'i. Living in a place for a good amount of time, we begin, often, to take that beauty for granted, and not fully appreciate it when it is, actually, all around us.
With that in mind, I wanted to share this dynamic dance of light and shadow that I am witnessing in the clouds this morning. More and more, in fuller and deeper ways, I share this beauty and marvel from my world, with you.
These photos were taken from my vantage point (a geodesic bamboo structure constructed up on the lava) on the edge of the most recent lava flow (2018) which covered a good portion of an acre of the off-grid intentional community where I've lived for more then three years now. This is the edge between worlds.
