Since I was young even today, I still have this dream of becoming a footballer and breaking unbreakable records in the history of the soccer game. Most times when I watch these popular and skillful players perform on the pitch, I always admire them and most times I dream in the night seeing myself playing on the pitch while my fans cheer, but the end would be sadness and hope when I realize it was just a dream.

Every individual who looks forward to becoming successful in any area of life most times has role models who they look forward to being like. In the area of football, I have three celebrities that I follow and admire so much. I also have reasons for following them. My three major celebrities are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. I follow them for different reasons.
Though Ronaldo doesn't have tattoos because he often donates his blood, the other two have special tattoos with different meanings.
Neymar Jr, my role model, has several tattoos on different parts of his body. On his left ankle is a tattoo of the word, "Ousadia" and on his right is a writing tattoo of the word, "Alegria" meaning courage and joy respectively. On his right arm is a tattoo representing a portrait of his sister, mom and son. Neymar Jr has many tattoos and mentioning them all would cost me the whole day, hehe. He also has a tattoo he didn't have a meaning for, he said it was secret.

Messi is the record-breaker. He is another skilled player I admire so much. He also has amazing tattoos on his body that have special meanings too. From the little research I did, I found out that Lionel Messi has eighteen tattoos on his body. On his back is a tattoo of his Mom's portrait as a way of showing love and respect for her. As a way of passing his religious convictions, he tattooed a Jesus' visage with a crown of thorns on his right arm.
The legend also tattooed his son's and wife's birth dates on his left leg. He also tattooed the number, 10 on his leg which represents the number on his Jersey when he played in FC Barcelona and Argentina National Team. The only tattoo Lionel Messi didn't display is the tattoo of a dagger with feathers, so I don't know the meaning of that particular one.

These players most times display their tattoos on the pitch mostly when they have scored a goal. As a method of goal celebration, Messi and Neymar most times pull off their shirts and their tattoos are exposed, so they don't hide them at all. If I were to have tattoos, I would go for tattoos such as portraits of my loved ones and memorable times of life like birth dates just like Messi did.
