Hoy comparto otro episodio de mi podcast, conversando sobre el compromiso del artista con la autenticidad.
Me pareció un tema interesante que se me ocurrió al pasar el día, tenía la idea de hacer un podcast hablando sobre el proceso creativo basándome en mi canción, pero también quería hablar del compromiso del ser creativo e innovador y quería a la vez vincularlo con el tema del desarrollo personal.
En este podcast hablo de por qué el artista, poeta, escritor, creador debe aspirar a crear lo que nunca se ha creado, es decir lo inédito, porque es lo único que hace a un artista auténtico y lo que acerca a un artista hacia la excelencia.
También hablo de una canción que recientemente publiqué y de cómo esa canción afecta a mi entendimiento con la autenticidad, ya que en esta canción utilizo palabras y expresiones poco comunes, que en un primer momento consideré sustituir para adaptarme al entendimiento de un público, que probablemente no esté muy seguro de que "exista", entonces un artista no puede optar por ello. Y no se trata de que el público tenga que adaptarse a ti como artista, tampoco. Se trata más de que el arte sea lo más puro posible, gracias a tu libre expresión que suele desembocar desde la conexión con el ahora hasta el compromiso con la autenticidad.
Cuando creas a partir del "ahora", ese tiempo presente donde ocurre magia al crear, sin pensar ni en pasado o futuro, es improbable que la autenticidad no aparezca, es en esos momentos donde lo que nunca se ha creado, se crea.
Por eso, el arte que tiene más pureza es el que atiende el placer propio del artista, antes que el placer externo, cuando el artista busca adaptación en lo externo o en un público elegido, es decir intenta cambiar palabras, expresiones para gustarle a los demás, es allí donde suele caer en una cárcel, donde su arte tiene reglas y formatos que en el fondo no quiere seguir, por lo que aparte tenderá a abandonar su autenticidad.
Normalmente, los artistas que no comprometen su arte socialmente suelen no estar comprometidos con la autenticidad, por eso es que los artistas deben tener determinación, firmeza con buscar la innovación, explorar lo inédito y exponer aquello que nunca había sido creado, sólo así el artista constituirá una actitud sólida en cualquier contexto cultural.
Este avatar que elegí usar es porque, aunque tenía el video del podcast, no me convenció tanto la calidad del video, así que decidí usar esta especie de avatar hecho con ChatGpt, le pedí que hiciera unas imágenes tipo Ghibli Studio a partir de unas fotos mías y con la app de Hailuo IA, encontré la manera de que el personaje se moviera y "hablara."

Today I'm sharing another episode of my podcast, discussing the artist's commitment to authenticity.
It struck me as an interesting topic that came to mind as I was going about my day. I had the idea of doing a podcast talking about the creative process based on my song, but I also wanted to talk about the commitment to being creative and innovative, and I wanted to link it to the topic of personal development.
In this podcast, I talk about why artists, poets, writers, and creators should aspire to create something that has never been created before, something unprecedented, because that is the only thing that makes an artist authentic and brings them closer to excellence.
I also talk about a song I recently released and how that song affects my understanding of authenticity, since in this song I use uncommon words and expressions, which at first I considered replacing to adapt to the understanding of an audience that is probably not very sure that it “exists,” so an artist cannot opt for that. And it's not that the audience has to adapt to you as an artist, either. It's more about art being as pure as possible, thanks to your free expression, which usually flows from your connection with the present moment to your commitment to authenticity.
When you create from the “now,” that present moment where magic happens when you create, without thinking about the past or future, it is unlikely that authenticity will not appear. It is in those moments that what has never been created is created.
That is why the purest art is that which serves the artist's own pleasure rather than external pleasure. When artists seek to adapt to external factors or a chosen audience, that is, when they try to change words and expressions to please others, they often fall into a prison where their art has rules and formats that they do not really want to follow, and as a result, they tend to abandon their authenticity.
Normally, artists who do not compromise their art socially are often not committed to authenticity. That is why artists must be determined and steadfast in their search for innovation, exploring the unknown and exposing what has never been created before. Only then will the artist establish a solid attitude in any cultural context.
I chose to use this avatar because, although I had the podcast video, I wasn't convinced by the video quality, so I decided to use this kind of avatar made with ChatGpt. I asked it to make some Ghibli Studio-style images from some photos of me, and with the [Hailuo AI] app (https://hailuoai.video/), I found a way to make the character move and “talk.”
