nos exhorta a refeirnos a esas excentricidades, ocurrencias y similares en estos tiempos navideños, Venezuela tiene varias ocurrencias al respecto, les cuento algunas que práctico con todo gusto.
Es común que los venezolanos centremos la mirada en el nuevo año enfocados en prosperidad, abundancia y la realización de aquellos sueños que deseamos. En aras de ello, todo lo que nos dicen que podemos hacer para gozar de esa vida próspera en el nuevo año y hacer realidad nuestras metas, pues lo hacemos.
Particularmente, el recibir el año nuevo para mí es más que dar calurosos abrazos a familiares, vecinos , amistades y conocidos deseándoles un enérgico: "Feliz año". Es también un compendio de prácticas alusivas a alcanzar abundancia, prosperidad, y logros personales en el año venidero.
Eso lo he hecho aproximadamente por 10 años consecutivos y es un show como los vecinos se rien de mis "locuras" , pero unas locuras comúnes ya que muchos hacen lo mismo, jaja. Se que aún no se me ha cumplido el deseo de viajar, ya hasta las maletas se me han dañado de tanto esperar y solo me queda un modesto bolso por ahí, pero no, no me doy vencida, Dios es bueno y la perseverancia me dará la victoria, Amén.
Mi hija me dice al ver llevando a cabo mi comelona:
"Pero mamá, tienes años comiendo eso y tu no eres rica"
Y le respondo: "como que no" , yo soy muy rica en amor, el amor de ustedes mi familia que me ama incondicional, de mis amigos; soy rica en valores, principios morales que rigen mis actos en la vida, soy rica en alegría y sobretodo soy rica en la paz de Dios, esa que sobre pasa todo entendimiento y solo Dios puede proporcionar; que no sea millonaria aún, esa es otra cosa jaja, pero ya llegará, el dinero es una energía que fluye en nuestras vidas de acuerdo a como movamos dicha energía, así que inteligencia con eso.
Bueno, este trío de prácticas curiosas, talvez un poco excéntricas para muchos son las que tengo años realizando y son comunes en mi territorio y Venezuela en general. Claro, hay muchas más que varían de región a región, de familia en familia, como la quema de Judas , la fiesta de "los locos" el 28/12 (día de los santos inocentes) pero quise compartir en esta gran iniciativa las que yo practico y de las que puedo dar fé, espero las disfruten.

Hello my beautiful Holos & Lotus community,
encourages us to talk about those eccentricities, whims, and the like during this Christmas season. Venezuela has several such whims, and I'll tell you about some that I happily practice.
It's common for Venezuelans to focus on the new year with prosperity, abundance, and the fulfillment of their dreams. To that end, we do everything we're told we can do to enjoy that prosperous life in the new year and make our goals a reality.
For me, welcoming the new year is more than just giving warm hugs to family, neighbors, friends, and acquaintances, wishing them a hearty "Happy New Year." It's also a collection of practices aimed at achieving abundance, prosperity, and personal success in the coming year.
I've been doing this for about 10 years straight, and it's quite a show how the neighbors laugh at my "crazy" antics—but they're just common antics since many people do the same thing, haha. I know my dream of traveling hasn't come true yet; my suitcases are even ruined from waiting so long, and all I have left is a modest handbag lying around somewhere. But no, I'm not giving up. God is good, and perseverance will bring me victory. Amen.
My daughter, seeing me indulging in this feast, says:
"But Mom, you've been eating that for years and you're not rich!"
And I reply: "Of course not! I'm very rich in love, the love of you, my family, who love me unconditionally, and of my friends; I'm rich in values, moral principles that guide my actions in life; I'm rich in joy, and above all, I'm rich in the peace of God, the peace that surpasses all understanding and that only God possesses It can provide; that she's not a millionaire yet, that's another story, haha, but it will come. Money is an energy that flows in our lives according to how we move that energy, so be smart about it.
Well, this trio of curious practices, perhaps a little eccentric for many, are ones I've been doing for years and are common in my area and Venezuela in general. Of course, there are many more that vary from region to region, from family to family, like the burning of Judas, the "Fools' Day" celebration on December 28th (Day of the Holy Innocents), but I wanted to share in this great initiative the ones I practice and can vouch for.
