Hola !! Bienvenidos queridos visitantes 🌷 | Hello!! Welcome dear visitors 🌷
Today I stopped to remember that yesterday I had many things to do and that with so many things I've been thinking about lately, I hadn't stopped to think about this photograph. Curiously, I went out with a friend to chat for a while—we do this almost every Monday when we can—and near where we were sitting, I saw a cute little dog with her puppy by her side. I couldn't let this moment pass unnoticed, so I decided to take one picture after another. I took about three photos because the moment seemed so sweet to me, and I couldn't let it go.
Once the mother dog and the puppy had walked away near the street where we were, I told my friend that it made me feel nostalgic because I've been thinking about how a mother's love is so distinctive, so significant, and so loyal. You might say, like my friend, "Some mothers, because many abandon their children"... And it's true, I don't deny that sometimes we see mothers abandon their children, sometimes because they can't afford to support or raise them, and other times simply because they lack natural affection and mistreat their children from a very young age. And honestly, I don't judge anyone for this, but I find it curious how something that can be conceived and born within you, thanks to the divine power of God our creator, can be abandoned. In my case, even though my life circumstances don't allow me to raise a child, and I'm still pregnant, it would be a great blessing for me to do what's necessary to care for and raise him. I told my friend that I couldn't bring myself to mistreat him, knowing that it's impossible. I defend it, but my point is how sad it is to see children suffering due to many things in society and around the world.
Returning to the topic my friend mentioned about how few mothers actually care for their children, I have to say I felt a bit of a connection to this because, in my case, my mother was both mother and father to me. Seeing this dog with her puppy reminded me of how much time, energy, and care my mother dedicated to us so we could grow up healthy, despite what she was going through. Currently, it's my little brother and me who are still being cared for by my mother, and I, now that I'm an adult, also take care of them. It's incredible how, in the animal kingdom, mothers are so attentive to their offspring. Even though animals have a life cycle and a specific function, we can't overlook how they also care for their young. I've seen birds spend hours searching for small insects to feed their chicks, sometimes for weeks at a time, and how they build their nests to protect their families. Honestly, every time I see it, I'm amazed and think, how can an animal care for its own and we can't? That is one of the questions that has led me to reflect since yesterday.
Meditating on this made me realize how much I should value and appreciate what my mom has done for me. Sometimes, in our imperfections and mistakes, we don't see it; we can overlook it. But I always remind myself that I should because she cared for me and continues to care for me more than I ever expected, and that's something I can never replace with anyone else. That love she gives me is so pure and unconditional; it makes me feel safe, helps me grow and learn. Following her example has helped me treat others with love and affection and be a better person. Without a doubt, we should value our mothers, even though they also make mistakes. Just like us, they also need our affection and love.
